Russian Ark snubbed in Choreography and The Magdalene Sisters in Ensemble are capital crimes.

Andy Serkis and Christopher Walken lookin FIIIIIIINE
Edit: Damn, I now want Serkis to mo-cap replace Julianne Moore in random movies. He'd probably improve the majority of the films.

Awesome nominees. How great things were back in the day, so many marvelous films!
Note to myself: REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR THE NOMINEES NEXT TIME!!! A bit pissed off about Spielberg missing for either of his great films.

I hate this year and these nominees, but I knew that going in. Roger Dodger missing best actor is criminal, I will say that.

Kicking myself for forgetting to vote. I waited to see more and then never saw more Fantastic presentation though, and solid set of nominees. I'm not a Lord of the Rings fan at all, especially the second one, so I wasn't thrilled to see how well it did. However, I acknowledge how iconic and important the introduction of Gollum is--- however, do I owe the vote to Andy Serkis or to the Visual Effects?

-Serkis, Hill and Haysbert are all inspired choices but Ed Harris missing surprised me. -DiCaprio, Caine and Grant gave brilliant performances. Sad to see no love for them. -Sam Mendes and PTA ahead of Spielberg? Eh.
Good choices as far as picture and techs but the rest no so much.

A bit late to the party, but my thoughts: Frida missing Original Score and Supporting Actor is criminal; The Hours missing Adapted Screenplay is insane; Surprised with the Bernard Hill / Maggie Cheung nods, I don't think I've ever seen anyone mentioning them here; Of course Scorsese and PT Anderson had to make it into Best Director, even for their worst films Dennis Quaid > Dennis Haysbert in Far from Heaven
