Thumbs down to these cowards dumping Lindo from their line-up now that they see he is vulnerable in the industry awards.

docs are becoming so diffuse that it's become super hard to tell which will have the most purchase with Oscar voters and just assume that 15-20 different films are going to get plaudits over the season and five of those will be nominated. Totally Under Control is one that I was predicting to be a major player back in Osctober. Directed by prolific documentarian Alex Gibney and by far the most high-profile doc about COVID so far, but it hasn't been showing up anywhere and it couldn't even make the shortlist.
Glad Vancouver gave it some love. A really important look back into spring/summer 2020 when things were getting totally out of control.

Really thinking if they had released Judas a couple months ago Kaluuya would have won a majority of the critics awards.
