01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title. Alone Yet Not Alone 02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with? Just me at home, handful of in-person visits with close family and friends 03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you.. Wrote a short piano piece, 2.5 minutes but first artistic project I'd actually finished in 3 years. Also cut a 15 minute music video with old home movies for my mom's bday, longest thing I've ever edited, learned a lot 04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each) Ironically this year was probably the least I watched anything in a long time, old or new, which I kinda consider a personal win in itself...but it'd be Strangers with Candy for TV, Parasite for Movie, 63 Up for Doc 05. Best performance of 2020 so far? Charles Dance in Mank? 06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any? Summer romance, felt lucky to meet someone and have a little bubble together where all the 2020 stuff just didn't register 07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year? The Mummy Returns at the drive-in 08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay? Not an option 09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over? Had trips to NYC and the Alps planned for this year, so those 10. The one thing I learned from this year is... 30 is the new 20...surreal to watch everything in the world go to hell while having a pretty amazing and rejuvenating year on a personal level

01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title. The Greatest Show on Earth 02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with? We never had a lockdown 03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you.. We never had a lockdown, but I wasn't particularly productive either lol 04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each) TV: The Americans Film: The Spirit of the Beehive Documentary: N/A 05. Best performance of 2020 so far? Amongst the shows and films that I saw in 2020 would be Keri Russell, The Americans. Strictly 2020 performances then Catherine O'Hara, Schitt's Creek. 06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any? I didn't get the offer I was expecting to get, but I got a much less stressful job instead, which makes me a lot happier. 07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year? I actively avoid shows and films I know I would hate. If have to pick I would say either Luce or Judy. 08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay? I wish I could work from home, but covid never affected us much so I can't. 09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over? We were planning on going to Cambodia this October but covid made that plan unfeasible, so I guess Cambodia. 10. The one thing I learned from this year is... 01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title.
Misery. 02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with?
Currently at home living with my mom and my brother ... When I'm at school I live in an apartment with my friends ... I definitely prefer the latter 03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you..
Oh god, nothing. I wanted to use lockdown to get so much writing done, and basically did shit on that front. I will say it gave me so much time to spend with a lot of new great film, music, literature, television, gaming, etc etc but I also don't want to stretch the definition of "productive" too much. 04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each)
In terms of 2020 releases? For film it's First Cow ... David Byrne's American Utopia for doc if that counts ... and for TV there's a few contenders but right now I'll say Schitt's Creek which was the one thing keeping me happy over a tough last few weeks... In general? For TV it's probably something anime honestly, either Evangelion or Madoka Magica ... best film I saw for the first time is Possession... for doc I have no idea, I watched so few this year, maybe Panahi's This Is Not a Film based on my LB records. 05. Best performance of 2020 so far?
For film... I'll say Shaun Parkes in Mangrove, or maybe Paul Raci in Sound of Metal. For TV? Rhea Seehorn in Better Call Saul, Annie Murphy in Schitt's Creek, and Antony Starr in The Boys are the big standouts for me. 06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any?
Umm... well reflecting on it now I realize there weren't really any significant milestones at all for me this year which is kind of saddening... but I do feel like I really strengthened a few of my closest friendships and found a strong sense of community in the last few months especially... it makes increased periods of isolation much more despairing but I do feel that I have a stronger sense of who I am and what makes me happy now than I did a year ago. Also just feel like I became more open socially and better understand the value of the people in my life... I'm not sure that all this being the "best" part of my year is either really sappy or really sad. 07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year?
For 2020 releases, it's The Devil All the Time. In general? Uh... maybe Primer, really fucking hated that movie. 08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay?
I don't "work"-work but I've been doing school from home since March and I hate it but it does have its benefits ... get to sleep in later, occasionally go to Zoom classes in bed and not really pay attention ... but all of these factors are also horrible for productivity, engagement, etc., that on top of adjusted school schedules that didn't give us breaks and demolished the mental health of the student body, it really really sucks. 09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over?
Oh my god, so many. NYC, Canada ... hopefully be able to take a cross-country trip with friends in a year and a half... really wanna go to the West Coast. 10. The one thing I learned from this year is...
Sort of alluded to above, but I think the main thing I learned this year is that I'm absolutely happiest when I'm around people I enjoy being with, which I sort of already knew but I certainly know it for sure now after thinking the opposite about myself for almost 20 years. In general I think I come away from this year with a stronger understanding of myself, as cliche as that may sound ... this year still absolutely sucked but maybe, maybe all that self-understanding and reflection will pave the way for an improved year next year (with hopefully more productivity/achievements)...

01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title.Everybody's Fine 02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with? The first lockdown (March - April) alone in a house I was renting (due to work) in the Greek countryside. This lockdown I am stuck in my family house. 03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you..Studying for my master's degree. And since it's in literature I got a chance to write some (not very good) short stories. 04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each)For 2020 releases: Movie - Red Post On Ecsher Street, TV - The Queen's Gambit, Documentary - N/A 05. Best performance of 2020 so far?Mala Morgan - Red Post On Ecsher Street 06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any?Starting practice for a master's degree (and now that I think about it, I'm here wasting my time on this forum, when I have an important paper to turn in by the end of this week, that I haven't even started with ) 07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year?Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker 08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay?Absolutely not. Trying to teach primary school children through correspondence classes is just as effective as trying to teach a brick wall. Education, especially for young children, requires the teachers physical presence as every kid has different educational needs or requires different tutorial procedures, which cannot be achieved without a physical presence, that also guarantees that the kids are giving the teacher the required attention. For high school it probably is much more effective, but for primary school it has been a complete failure so far. 09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over?I don't know. I'll probably go to Thessaloniki for a few days. 10. The one thing I learned from this year is...Long distance learning with primary school children is an extremely bad idea.

01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title.
Misery
02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with?
My family.
03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you..
Participating in MUN (exhausting but fun in its own way), finally reaching my goal of seeing 100 films in a year (now with 110 films and counting, and I've been lately going into overdrive in the winter holidays), and making donations to good causes.
04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each)
TV Show: Fleabag Film: Schindler's List Documentary: Won't You Be My Neighbour?
05. Best performance of 2020 so far?

06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any?
Passing my board exams, by far! The sense of relief was unbelievable.
07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year?
Haven't seen any bad TV, so Trashformers 4... errm, I mean Transformers 4 automatically wins by faaaaaaaar.
08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay?
I'm just a student, but I haven't really encountered any problems so far with my writing work, so... Yay, I guess.
09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over?
I would really love to visit Darjeeling or any other hilly town.
10. The one thing I learned from this year is...
Y'know, Forrest Gump's mother had a point when she said life is like a box of chocolates. You really never know what paths your life will take.
Also, I generally do not want to be anti-American since I don't want to talk shit about a country I've never visited... but man, America really fucking sucks.

01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title. Fantastic Planet02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with? First months only with my dogs, now with family03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you.. Discover a new value for the word team... with lockdown I thought my work was done, but we figure out how to keep going within this mess. Also, I saw more movies than... ever ???04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each) Didn't saw a lot of tv but I liked We Are Who We Are and I started watching My Brilliant Friend and has become a favourite, Mank for movies and The Painter and the Thief for doc, if this is not only 2020 related then it would be a 5 way tie between Tampopo, The Tenant, La Belle Noiseuse, Fists in the Pocket and Jean de Florette.05. Best performance of 2020 so far? Nina Hoss in The Audition06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any? A few people very close to me ( and two of my dogs ) got really sick ( not covid releated ) but they're all perfectly fine now 07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year? Saw first two episodes of Hollywood, that was more than enough, for movies either Antebellum, The Assistant or Shirley08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay? I much appreciate the useless hand shaking, kissing and meetings but it's a huge NO for me. At some point I'd get tired of the ridiculous zooms, FaceTime and drones, nothing to see in the flesh what you're doing, and working from home can easily lead someone to do most activities from there as well, and I don't see how that's beneficial. 09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over? Geneva, couldn't go this summer, next one will be ..!10. The one thing I learned from this year is . ..mmm this could turn into a bitter rant from my part but a recurrent behavior was just how much people enjoy making every single thing political.... it's so annoying but to end on a happiest note, this situation, as bad as it was sometimes, gave me a better perspective of myself.... oh and work out from home with no equipment at all is possible and still have great results

It is all so important. I also learned that I am an amazing company to be with.

01. Describe your 2020 with a movie title. What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice? omg that's horrible - how about a song title: Things Have Changed
02. Who did/are you spend(ing) your lockdown with? Joe... Lots and lots of cups of Joe
03. The most productive thing you did during the lockdown? Whatever productive means to you.. I produced a lot of bad puns, a lot. I should take Clemenza's advice: "Leave the pun, take the cannoli."
04. Best thing you saw this year? (TV Show + Movie + Documentary.. 1 each) 2020: Curb S10, The Hater, Coup 53 All: Sopranos, Nothing But a Man
05. Best performance of 2020 so far? Blanchett Mrs America
06. The best thing happened to you this year, if any? MovieAwardsRedux.freeforums.net/allthethreads [ group hug ]
07. Worst movie/TV you saw this year? How about a moment - the closing fist in front of the horn in Unhinged.
08. Work from Home? Yay or Nay? Yay. Pogo said it best, "a little homebody an' a lil home brew."
09. The one place you'll want to visit (more like a trip) once the lockdown is over? The sidewalk, to start. Kidding...I was actually planning a South Korea trip right before the bedlam, so maybe back to that plan.
10. The one thing I learned from this year is... As Baudelaire said, “Life has but one true charm: the charm of the game."
