What constitutes romance? I want to put down something like Caligula
Other more conventional fycs: the graduate, Harold and Maude, band of outsiders, her, the cook the thief his wife and her lover, la la land

I want to put down something like Caligula Other more conventional fycs: the graduate, Harold and Maude, band of outsiders, her, the cook the thief his wife and her lover, la la land totally counts. I’d say whatever is listed as romance in the genre section is automatically fair game. There are obvious oversights, like the fact that The Graduate isn’t listed as ‘romance’ on Letterboxd. It’d ultimately be up to your discretion

But trully romantics ones. I've seen one called Le Cri Du Desir (1975), that is based on Phaedra (1962), well in some aspects is a better film.- Well most of the hardcore scenes were doubled i .-

I'm compiling my list at the moment and can I get a ruling on Spider-Man 2 (2004)? It isn't listed as a romance on IMDB or Letterboxd but anyone that has seen the movie will know that it's WAY more of a romance than it is an action film. There are only like three action set-pieces in the whole movie and yet the entire plot hinges upon Peter and MJ's relationship. It's the emotional climax of the whole story.

I won't oppose any movie voted for. I kind of want to re-watch given this take. It's easily been over a decade since I watched any of the Raimi Spideys.

Sharbs Awesome thanks! Spider-Man 2 is legitimately one of the best rom-coms of the 21st century. Boy gets bogged down in his own baggage, Girl grows tired waiting for Boy to get his shit together. Romance is hard when you're broke! Tale as old as time.

Itsn't it a joke, go to google video section, video with more than 20 minutes and find the film. Le cri du desir, is easy to find, and Lahaie films are even more easier., in facts there are two different hardcore version of Le segrete esperienze di Luca e Fanny, you have too see both to try to understand what happened. In one the plot is missing, in the other the most important scene-

Sharbs : the Before trilogy , can we count it as one single movie ? it’s best to separate those. Different productions. Plus all the voters have been voting separately for them so far.
