Or ones where you think message boards or writers will see them as rivals in this new decade - It can be one everyone sees coming - for example Adam Driver/Ryan Gosling are guys I always talk about as rivals......... potential big time Oscar nominees, both in their 30s, both attract big directors and both are careerists imo so I don't see them fighting other guys exactly more than each other etc. Who are some others for you........maybe JDW and Michael B. Jordan? How about females - who will one day be the equivalent of our Blanchett/Kidman/Winslet polls......?

Gosling and Jake Gyllenhaal. Same age, comparable acclaim, both are leading men, both very talented.
If Don't look up works for J-Law and she climbs back out of the pit, I see maybe a Ronan/Stone/Lawrence/Robbie four-headed rivalry emerging.
Hedges doesn't seem to get high-profile enough stuff to compete with Chalamet.

DiCaprio/Phoenix/Bale has to be at the top of the current acting rivalries.
