Is there any book in which the matters of racism, wars and ideals in the west are covered and actually approved by both conservatives and liberals?

On race - not a book per se, but anthologized in book form........I would say this is as close to an agreement point independent from politics. In fact, I'd argue that every American should have it as essential reading or "re-reading" in some cases - because a lot of "liberal" ideas towards race that we take for granted - including his criticism of/within the Black community - are discussed (and which often gets glossed over and forgotten now).

I think the Autobiography of Malcolm X is a spectacular book no matter where you are on the political spectrum.

Is there any book in which the matters of racism, wars and ideals in the west are covered and actually approved by both conservatives and liberals? this is different than your thread title question. there are plenty of things that conservatives and liberals agree on because they are fundamentally ideologically similar. anything that has a footnote talking about america's sins but otherwise is vaguely positive towards its history would be approved of by a typical american voter. the leftists and the rightwingers agreeing on anything? i mean i guess it could happen - maybe something dry that identifies the motives behind the horrible ideas that were executed but doesn't confirm or deny its position could be interpreted in positive ways by both branches.
