Very cool teaser but worth noting that this is Park's first movie since Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance in 2002 not shot by Chung Chung-hoon. Their collabs were so gorgeous, especially Stoker and Handmaiden. I guess he was busy?
the visuals here still look really striking though. I've been a Park skeptic but this looks cool as fuck.

No director - maybe ever - and I'm not kidding - puts as much thought in how he's going to shoot human faces - or draw - connections between characters - like Park does through those choices. He does these famous techniques, yes (ie the Polanski / Coppola-Godfather "over the should shot" - that shows closesness between characters and space), but in that latest clip ^ he's just masterful in how he slips from close-ups to double (or alternating) closes-ups or to shots that show both characters "acting" and "reacting" in depth of frame shots separating foreground / background - within the frame to each other - where a plebby director would show merely a close-up of one of them - and emphasize merely one thing to you. He loves the human face and how to convey it to you - never gets any credit for that stuff really - he's an insanely humanist filmmaker.....someone should do a montage of human faces in his filmography - the visuals and design of those scenes would be overwhelming to process......  |

Really get to see how many locations are traversed in this movie by that new trailer - or at least the difference between locations - where it begins and ends - in that specific aspect it really is special.....and how those set pieces are so deeply thought out - why is that scene shot in that place, in that particular way etc.
Also, when I think back on it ......the more I'm convinced it's the greatest cell phone movie ever made .....
