Ugh, no words. Seemed like such a first-class guy, too. He better be a hall-of-famer. One of the best, if not the best, pitcher of that decade. What a competitor who overcame a lot to become what he was. |

Wow, just saw this. Absolutely horrible and devastating news. Certainly one of the best pitchers of my lifetime, and he seemed like a great guy too. Can't believe it. |

She was there for his first start as a Jay, and he almost had a no-hitter into the 9th. She passed away last year and this would have made her so sad  |

It's good that they're going young, but uh... why not young and someone with some managing experience? Hell, even some leadership experience would be good. None. It still bothers me that the Yankees passed up on Mattingly back when Girardi was hired. |
