The numbers are out already, huh? All things considered, seems like a decent debut.

I'd be terribly disappointed if this becomes Nolan's first flop and that too due to a pandemic. Not a smart move to release at this time but i still wish it to become a hit.

Pretty good number considering the circumstances. Have to see how it does in the US.

Seems it's official. It's also on imdb, which is reliable on release dates.

I don't think it will improve in the US. The middling reception isn't gonna help either.

I don't think it will improve in the US. The middling reception isn't gonna help either. WB. & Nolan expected this — the US is a complete shitshow. Although i’ll also say that whilst 20M+ isn’t incredible, it’s not terrible either given the current predicament. This needs around $500m to break even and going by the excellent international numbers already, it shouldn’t have a problem doing so.

WB might be looking at a $100m-$150m loss. First flop for Nolan. They both deserve this. Why would you release your film in the midst of a pandemic?!

I can still see this hitting ~500 mil. globally, which would not be a flop, right?

I can still see this hitting ~500 mil. globally, which would not be a flop, right? But how long will it play in the theatre? Movies used to play for years back in the day. In addition, they could always re-release it once this thing is done.

In addition, they could always re-release it once this thing is done. It might be playing for another 2-3 months, who knows? These guys delayed WW and most likely Dune for Tenet's favor. Plus, nobody knows when this whole pandemic thing ends. Planning a re-release will be out of the question for months to come.
