I saw Out of the Blue before Days of Heaven, so that's the movie I think of first. That one is on her shoulders and it's a confident perf, a difficult role. Even though the ending is outrageously dark, it's a pretty good movie of cyclical familial brokenness and impressionable youth. Despite so few roles, she's quite distinct in the mind, especially her voice. RIP.
