Could this jeopardize her Oscar chances?

For Black is King. She wrote, directed, and stars in it. I’m predicting 4-5 noms. It premieres July 31st, 2020 on Disney+.

On one hand I feel like "Black Is King" is sort of racist and supports the patriarchy with their disgusting wangs - why can't Black be Queen, Bey? But I personally see Beyonce as the modern Olivier and of course Olivier was the last nodded person for wearing blackface (for Othello). Of course that was a different thing possibly but I personally also see Beyonce as the modern Shakespeare so I don't think it will affect her chances much. On the third hand (um) Othello was also terribly deceived by Iago and here's the thing.............. I personally also see Beyonce as Iago so she may have just played herself there...........or maybe I did in this analysis.

Wow I’m shocked this didn’t affect her reviews. Certified fresh on rotten tomatoes and glowing reviews on Metacritic.

I thougth she was the new Glenn Close, who came to fame, after she replaced Mary Uriel? In The stage versión of the exorcist. She could be Reagan or her mom. I guess she could be in The remake of Close most famous movie roles. However I think Jay Z should be better un the wife.

Damn I don't even remember what this "controversy" was about. Just goes to show how effective her PR people are.
