She carries a whole segment, she's talked about a lot throughout the movie and maybe (just maybe) she has the most screen time after Travolta (just a guess). Plus, Uma's role has become classic. I know this doesn't mean much but that's the feeling she gives me: She's the leading lady. (More leading than Maria de Medeiros, for sure ) Then again, I may be wrong (and the Oscars right).
