Who is most owed and who will/won't win?

Glenn Close and Sigourney Weaver for me are the most owed. Weaver probably will never win, and Close's window is extremely small.
Amy Adams, Sairose Ronan and Michelle Williams will win at some point, mainly because they are still seen as being hot or young enough.

I always post this and no one cares but what the hell I'll keep beating this drum - if you add up Glenn Close Triple Crown nominations (Emmy/Tony/Oscar) she has 22 iirc. That is an insane number for actresses and puts her close to Streep (25) - I love that stat because it shows you how hard she's worked in her career - it's inspiring. Her work ethic is almost unparalleled for American actress - she's the closest thing to a female Olivier in a way....so just on that alone she's my pick and there's more than just that. After that Michelle Williams who I called the best actress of her generation before Fosse/Verdon - people scoffed and now of course came around to agreeing with it which is usually how things work around MAR: Attack pacinoyes.......not get his jokes ......grudgingly agree with pacinoyes......eventually come to love his jokes AND pacinoyes.

I went with Close because she has the most nominations, and even though I was rooting for Colman, I couldn’t help but feel bad that Close was, no pun intended, so close, but still lost in the end.
Will Win: Glenn Close - I think she has a good chance as long as Hillbilly Elegy isn’t a total turkey. If it is, then sadly I don’t think she’ll ever win a competitive Oscar.
Amy Adams - Still young enough and in demand to win.
Saoirse Ronan - She’ll win at least two before she’s done.
Michelle Williams - She feels too talented not to have an Oscar, but I’m not as confident about her as I am Adams and Ronan just because I’m not sure how long of a break she’ll take from films after having a new baby, and I think that momentum can be a part of winning. Timing is of course the biggest element, but I think career momentum helps some nominees get attention and that can lead to enough voters deciding it’s that person’s time to win.
Laura Linney - Maybe? She hasn’t done anything buzzworthy since Sully, and even then she was totally wasted. However, Ozark is one of the hottest shows right now, and a lot of recent Oscar acting winners path to winning started in noteworthy television work first especially the Supporting Actress category.

The metric I used to answer this is 'which one it's most weird to realize doesn't have one yet'. And the answer has got to be Glenn Close.

Who will win? I think a few of them have a win in the future - I can't see Adams or Ronan stay with sole nominations. But of course on paper it sounds like Close can finally do it with "Hillbilly Elegy". Unless it flops which can certainly happen.

For film work, I think I go with Michelle Pfeiffer.

Woah, damn this is tough. For me it's Adams. Thought about Saoirse but it seems too soon to put her ahead of Adams and of all of them it really seems an inevitability that she'll get one with her age and how she's racking up noms these days.

I was a bit surprised actually myself, but I had to go with Ronan already. Cause I give her two wins. Amy Adams would be very deserving as well.
