Holy crap. Drag Race UK is killing it. Airing at the same time as S13 is showing how much better it is.

...an abomination. I thought he was going to win! I mostly like this batch of queens but I realized I forgot who Sister Sister and Elle Diamond were and even forgot they existed. I guess maybe it's the edit not focusing on them. They seem really neglected but they don't stand out as is. The first UK cast was better, but there are some great queens this season. I really can't see Lawrence Chaney winning, but she's my favorite. I'm surprised at how much I liked the Rats musical. Based solely on aesthetic/look, I thought
... would have gone farther. HATED that S13 premiere. I'd say it was the worst episode in the series history, because it was so damn boring, so repetitive, so useless, and such a waste of time. It was annoying. The other eps were good-ish. Symone for the win. The cast is good. Nicole Byer is hilarious and I'm glad she's a rotating judge this season. Her Kahmora critiques were some of the funniest/accurate from the show. Basically all of this. Joe was - just by the looks and his reputation my frontrunner. I also agree on Lawrence Chaney, but who knows, maybe we're in for a surprise. S13 also this! The first three episodes were...rough. Simone is as of right now the clear front runner, but she is giving me Gigi vibes and I guess she won't make it to the very end. Initially I disliked Rosé, but the last episodes made me really like her. And that lip-sync? damn! They're sleeping on Rosé even worse than Jan.

I'm really hoping for a F4 of Lawrence, Tia, Ellie Diamond and Tayce. And I'm kinda pulling for Ellie to win out, as I think her biggest issue is that she's been stuck in Lawrence's shadow, so I'm rooting for her to take the crown at the end and for Lawrence (who is indeed the funniest queen I've ever seen) to be the season's fallen angel.

UK 2.06 spoiler Tia So relieved my boy Lawrence didn't go home though but it was awful seeing my two faves, battling it out. I thought A'whora had no business being in the bottom 3 though. Bimini was the rightful winner of the night and has really been stepping it out. Still predicting her to make the final 4.

I was really hoping she would claw her way to the Final 4 and earn her lip-sync assassin title. Ellie Diamond had a real breakout episode tonight. Seriously, I think everyone's overlooking her as a major contender.

The queens on the UK version are all SO good, I really don't know who to root for, especially in a lip-sync situation like this. But SO SO SO happy for Bimini. If there were just one winner on the Ruruvision episode, it should have been her. And another great week for immediately!

This endless season has finally come to the most underwhelming close possible. No shade to the winner -- very deserved and I can almost forgive one of the most blatant winner edits ever (almost)... but holy shit! That was SO low energy. They all did Britney dirty. Last season's finale in their freaking living rooms was better.

Well, that was...odd. The last weeks felt so low energy that I actually lost interest. Made myself watch the "reunion" and the finale, but wow, that was quite something. They did Britney dirty indeed, although I think those weren't the best lip-sync songs that production chose. And - no shade - but I really can't understand how Kandy ended up the runner up.

It was such Rigga Morris + Because they need someone to go home first (*last) + Rebecca Glasscock in top 3 energy.

Anyone else watching the current All Stars 6? Didn't have a lot of passion going into this season, nothing against the cast (team A'keria!), but only UK and Canada are serving lately. However, the recent episode (5) was one of my favorite episodes of the show in sooooo long. The laughs, the drama, gurl... the vulnerability! I thought the challenge was really fun (though did get kind of heavy and uncomfortable at times) and the first group did such a marvellous job -- I'd listen to an A'keria/Eureka/Trinity podcast in a heartbeat. I was rather gutted A'keria didn't win the episode given that she had such marvellous chemistry in the group and her runway was to die for (the measuring tape hair! ). Do love me some Ginger though and after that lipsync I can't begrudge her the win and she totally deserved the $30,000... plus she was really doing it for me in the Sandy from Grease look. Also, that fakeout assassin reveal that was just the most random Bianca cameo?! Shame Scarlet didn't really get her time to shine (again) and Pandora needs to come out of her box already because I keep forgetting she's there. Wish we had a little more of Aisha Tyler as a the guest judge, but her rose medal mask reveal was a lovely touch. * Chef's kiss* And never forget-- don’t let a hurt child make grown up decisions. GREAT EP!

I'm surprised at how well Ra'Jah and Trinity are doing (I say this as someone who slept on them to begin with, however). Ginger's lipsync was hilarious and perfect. It's one of the best I've seen. I thought Trinity might win the table talk ep; I just loved her runway and her performance was great, too. Eureka was an excellent moderator but her runway way too busy (even considering the theme). Akeria's runway was fine; I liked it enough to not dislike it but it truly was not what the theme called for. The three of them really should have a podcast, it was so effortlessly well done. But the most baffling thing of the night was wtf was Sonique wearing? It looked like cheetah fish fins flapping all over. Truly hideous and I think Ru said she loved it???
Scarlet rightfully went home, even if Jan was roughly just as poor in the challenge and Scarlet had the better runway. Jan's runway sucked, though. But I'd rather watch Jan than Scarlet.
At first I thought Pandora was both being more subdued and not chatty but also not getting any good screentime due to the edit. But she really just seems like she's a wallflower. I wonder if she's not personally familiar with many of the queens? Ginger is her friend but it seems like Pandora is just sitting and observing and not engaging much. Someone needs to give her a Redbull.
I hope the twist this season is us finally getting a queen who initially went home winning (Yara). But I'm also rooting for Ginger and while overall I wouldn't really stan Trinity winning, it would be a left field choice and great that a queen from the first half of the series won. And she's doing quite well, so it's not like it'd be undeserving.
Ra'Jah (who I disliked on S11, but then again, I disliked 90% of them), is not only doing well, but I'm loving her personality. It's a great shift from S11.
The game within a game, though? I don't really care anymore. It's just annoyingly being dragged out. I thought it was going to be the eliminated queen (Serena) is the second lipsync assassin, and if she wins, then she returns to the game. And then the jury's choice gets eliminated. And then that eliminated queen gets to return as the lipsync assassin the following week, but if she loses, then that's the end of her chances. But that would make the season have too many queens for too much of the show (like S13, which was a chore). And I don't know how they'd actually be reducing the cast as the season went on. So far, I like this season. It's much better than AS5, which felt like All Stars Lite. This one is unpredictable, and has a better cast of queens.

Initially I was a bit concerned when they revealed the cast, but I am pleasantly surprised on how entertained I am. I am absolutely here for the Ra'Jah Rudemption and love how evenly the wins are - which really makes it everyones game right now.
Getting a bit annoyed by this game-within-game stuff. They are dragging it out for too long now, and in the end it'll just be an eliminated queen returning...
On a different note: Did anyone catch Drag Race Espana?

Drag Race España is great! The cast is good, as are the judges. They have insightful, caring, and constructive things to say. They actually sound like they know what they are talking about and are invested in the queens by being honest without being assholes or pretentious. And they don't rely on stupid dad jokes. The challenges are your typical variety, but done well and love seeing their Spanish sense of humor. I found some of the challenge winners questionable, but not outright bad...just not what I would have picked. The winner is excellent. I'd rank it among my favorites. I like 2, 4, 5, 6, AS2, 12, Canada, UK1, UK2, and Thailand 1 better, for example, but it's still very good on its own. As for AS6, I am greatly enjoying this cast. It's so diverse and representing so many different seasons (and not just recent ones). It's just a shame that Jiggly and Yara were eliminated so early. I want Ginger to win but so far, wouldn't mind if Ra'Jah or Trinity won. But that Game within a Game crap is so damn stupid. It's lasting longer than S13, which felt like it ran for 84 episodes.

Liking AS6 a lot, but I don't love it yet. The biggest surprise for me is how Eureka is just safe 8 times in a row, and I don't personally think she's been screwed out of anything. She has just been solid, and that's not like Eureka, she's a real peaks and valleys drag race queen. I'm still not counting her out yet though. She's bound to get the 'have to win edit' next episode, so we'll see. I liked Trinity on her season, and I still like her now. No more or less. I agree with those who say they are pleasantly surprised with Ra'Jah this time. She seems genuinely nice and cool and outside of the pop art runway, she was nailing it in that regard. Talking of fashion, the wow moments are thin on the ground, but then so are the bad ones, so I guess strong overall. So, as Yara is one of my all-time favourites from the show, I was gutted when she went. I think she got a rough treatment in her elimination week, but overall, she wasn't knocking it out of the park, so I can't feel too aggrieved. I don't think she deserved to win the opening challenge either.
Ginger would seem like a slight favourite right now, but I can see any of them winning and of the five left, I would be actually fine with any of them winning. If it was up to me I'd choose Kylie.
Who knows what this 'game within the game' will mean though. Or who cares at this stage. I'm sure it'll fuck at least one of the final five over.
Talking Jan, I didn't mind her getting the boot. I thought she was overrated on Season 12, and I'll never be convinced that she wasn't 4th best in the Madonna challenge that she was 'robbed' in. Also, while she's not a fashion roadkill queen, she's on life support.

Anyone watching the current UK season?
After season 2 my hope were damn high and while I enjoy most of the queens the production and choices are so...off?
Last night's episode left me really stunned.
