He’s already setting the stage to challenge the legitimacy of the results if he loses. I think he’ll refuse to give up the presidency an we’ll be in for the biggest shit show to date.

I think he'd be happy to go tbh - write a book, get a show on Fox, get to know his wife again....ummmmmmm......I also think it may be more likely that the Democrats actually refuse to accept losing to that divisive a president after the last 4 years with an 11 point poll lead in June. I'm not a Trump fan but not accepting election result is pretty much the Democrats disgusting forte these days isn't it? ......Russia influenced the 2016 race......we must disband the electoral college because Hilary won the popular vote (wtf)......heck if Stacy Abrams is the VP pick she's pretty much the poster child of losing an election and acting like she won it.

Will the unfeeling, narcissistic, tyrannical, manipulative, racist, prejudiced, idiotic, unknowledgeable, temperamental, vulgar, entitled, warmongering, duplicitous, preying, immoral, selfish, perverted, incoherent, repulsive, spineless, and all around despicable excuse for a human being walking Cheeto in a suit, with an alarming dictator fetish, an unwillingness to grow or learn from any of his MANY previous mistakes, and legion of angry asshole supporters and sycophants, who would literally be willing to burn the country they claim to love to the fucking ground, just so long as they can say “Fuck you, got mine” to anyone who dare try to tell them they’re wrong or encourage them to learn?
Yeah, it seems a safe bet.

He's a narcissist so he definitely will challenge the results for a while both for his own ego and to maintain his brand among his followers of being a winner (that's all it's ever been about - branding). I imagine if he loses handily and Republicans lose ground in both the House and Senate that they will abandon ship and leave him in the dust, but if it's close enough then they will back him in staking a claim that the results were fraudulent and it will be a shitshow.

I think if he loses he'll definitely claim it was rigged or that there was mass voter fraud but I don't think he'll actually do anything about it. He's just too lazy to go to the trouble.

The guy is a moron, but even he knows that the Red will absolutely crucify him should he even remotely try something like this...

His ego wouldn't let him accept a defeat without all sorts of complaints of course, but in the end I kinda think that his presidency for him is basically not more than advertising himself or public relations...

Agree that he'd be too lazy to do anything about it. I'd be more worried about his supporters.

Agree that he'd be too lazy to do anything about it. I'd be more worried about his supporters. He’s already starting to rile them up, with statements alluding to riots happening should he lose. He’s basically calling for violence with deniable language.
