Malick was robbed. Still, good for Eggers and Sciamma.

amazing bunch of women. Delighted both Portrait ladies made it in because they both deserve to be there.

De Niro's absence at almost all awards shows was utterly baffling to me. Glad MAR did the right thing.

Buckley was robbed, but at least now I can just give all my support to Franciosi.

Eddie Murphy snubbed AGAIN Don't have much of a reaction to this group. Driver and Dafoe are phenomenal but this category was so underwhelming. Most of my picks had no chance of getting in but I was really pulling for Hauser.

The former timberman was robbed, though I guess at least no vote splitting with Dafoe then.

Why all the Serenity snubs? People just weren't ready for the 2001: A Space Odyssey of our times.

And your Best Picture nominees are... Lovely set of nominees. OUATIH is my least favourite among these and it's still damn good. Didn't know how much this board loved The Nightingale.

The nominees in both lead acting categories are pretty great, but there's the odd performance in both that I find completely atrocious and it's bizarre to see lumped together with the others which are quite fantastic (I'm talking about Pugh, Nyong'o and Phoenix).

THE FUCKING NIGHTINGALE GOT IN FOR BEST PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Easily the most shocking and delightful nom of the night. There wasn't anything to suggest it would to get to best picture, but it did. Speaks to how much people liked it.
