oops, forgot to run this. Let's get it done quick.
some to kick us off:
Tom Cruise - Collateral Emily Blunt - My Summer of Love Liev Schreiber - The Manchurian Candidate Laura Smet - The Bridesmaid
that's all I got. I'll leave submissions open for a few days and then we'll vote.

Dakota Fanning - Man on Fire Nick Nolte - Clean Joaquin Phoenix - The Village Emma Watson - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
I don't think any of these are that borderline, but I'll place them down anyway.

Better get this started, I guess. My votes out of the current nods:
Tom Cruise - Collateral LEAD Emily Blunt - My Summer of Love LEAD Liev Schreiber - The Manchurian Candidate LEEEE-nah, supporting by a hair Laura Smet - The Bridesmaid Dakota Fanning - Man on Fire SUPPORTING Nick Nolte - Clean SUPPORTING Joaquin Phoenix - The Village SUPPORTING Emma Watson - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban LEAD (yeah, this'll be controversial I think) Belen Rueda - The Sea Inside Kate Winslet - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind LEAD, but she makes a good case for support Alexandra Maria Lara - Downfall

Oh. Is, uh... Kill Bill 2 considered original or adapted? They were originally envisioned as one film, right? I dunno what we're doing there.

Oh. Is, uh... Kill Bill 2 considered original or adapted? Really? Because the second is nothing like the first. Much slower-paced with fewer action pieces. I'd say adapted. Tarantino's vision is irrelevant to me. Both films are two separate pieces of intellectual property, one with properties based on the other. A simple case of copyright.

Better get this started, I guess. thing is, a consensus is meaningless without more involvement and I don't feel like chasing anyone down anymore. As this series goes further back it's going to be seeing less engagement, which sucks but it's just the nature of this kind of thing, and as engagement decreases the value of this lead vs. supporting thread also decreases. I think we're at a point where people should just vote for their picks and we'll see how it shakes out.
