Juliette Binoche, Jack Lemmon, Julianne Moore, and Sean Penn are the only actors to have won Acting prizes from all three festivals (Berlin, Cannes, Venice). I've compiled a list of all of the living actors who are just missing one prize. Who do you think is most likely to join the ranks?
Isabelle Adjani (Venice) Javier Bardem (Berlin) Maggie Cheung (Venice) Tom Courtenay (Cannes) Benicio Del Toro (Venice) Gérard Depardieu (Venice) Bruce Dern (Venice) Albert Finney (Cannes) Shahab Hosseini (Venice) Holly Hunter (Venice) Isabelle Huppert (Berlin) Sophia Loren (Berlin) Shirley MacLaine (Cannes) Helen Mirren (Berlin) Joaquin Phoenix (Berlin) Charlotte Rampling (Cannes) Vanessa Redgrave (Berlin) Meryl Streep (Venice) Jean-Louis Trintignant (Venice)
I think this is everyone, but if I'm missing a name, just let me know, and I'll edit him/her into the post! My guess - either Huppert or Streep.

I'd probably bet on Bardem out of those.

Bardem, followed by Huppert, Mirren and Del Toro.

Bardem because he's not that old and is still in high demand. Huppert would seem like the next logical choice.

Jean-Louis Trintignant needs Venice. Not Cheung, since's retired. I'd guess Huppert because any film she's in has a good shot on the festival circuit.

Huppert, she always seems to have a movie in every festival.
And how about directors? Antonioni and Altman are the only ones to have all three, but is there anyone with two with a chance?

Paul Thomas Anderson is actually the only person to win Best Director at all three. Antonioni and Altman have won the top film prizes, but they hadn't won Best Director at all three.

Well, I meant the top prize.

I think introducing Phoenix into the mix shakes things up for me. Bardem's had a rough go of things these last couple of years, and while the Aronofsky project is promising and the Escobar project could be good, there's nothing on his upcoming docket that makes me think he could take Berlin soon. Meanwhile, Phoenix does a lot more esoteric art-house fare that does well at festivals, so I'd probably give him the edge over Javier, at least at this point.

@tylerferrerosorel Please make a director's list too, including all directors (living or not) who won two.

I don't know why, but Wim Wenders only missing Berlin is funny.

Godard 9. Costa-Gavras 10. Taviani (is he still making movies now that his brother's gone?) 11. Polanski

Just checked what beat J'accuse at Venice last year and I really wish I hadn't. I think I'd bet on Malick or Zhang Yimou to first get that third win. Yimou has at least three movies in the can so the odds one is great and plays at Cannes next year is possible. Any chance Malick's The Last Planet is ready for Venice later this year??
