Could I just cram in Anne Bancroft's performance in The Pumpkin Eater, which is nothing short of spectacular. Her role goes through the whole gamut of emotions.

I've been meaning to watch the Zulawski film for years now... love the other choices. Yes, you must see it! That only increase my expectations ! Funnily enough I was planning to start the year with a Zulawski mini marathon (only seen Third Part of the Night and Possession, both films one can't forget), most of his films got the bluray treatment last year and managed to pick some, very excited about that and maybe return to my Schneider retrospective, only got to the Sissi trilogy. Delightful presence.
