Oh no!!! I know the past year on Jimmy Kimmel whenever he would appear in one of the bits usually at least once or twice a week, I was worried about his health because he appeared to be shaking, looked like he had lost weight, and seemed a bit off when he was speaking, but I was hoping that it was just normal old age. (I knew he was up there, but I didn't realize he was 86, he looked much younger imo.) RIP. I know anytime I happen to see a dog show especially now that networks are showing a lot of old programs, and I watched some dog show from like 2013 a few weeks ago, I always think of him in Best in Show and laugh.

RIP Mr. Willard. I thought he was hilarious in those Christopher Guest movies. Such a natural gifted comedic performer. For anyone who's interested his SNL episode is on Hulu right now.

This is just the worst. I am amazed that he was 86, but still... Easily one of the most effortlessly funny and effortlessly lovable presences to ever step foot in front of a camera on big screen and small. He was probably the greatest of the titanic Christopher Guest troupe, and that is saying something. Guffman, Best In Show, A Mighty Wind, all stolen, when he showed up on Modern Family (pitch perfect casting), Simpsons, Friends, and what not, the same. Even as the one flaw in WALL-E with that shameless exposition job, it was impossible to hold it against the movie because it was him delivering it.
And "wha' happened" is easily my most used and useful movie quote. Thanks for that, Mr. Willard.
