Pretty busy weekend, and not to mention Zookeeper's Wife will open in moderate release
Boss Baby is the first major animated film in weeks and it's been marketed and buzzed for months
Dreamworks Animation's March openings: Home- 52m OW, 177m DOM Mr Peabody- $32m OW, 111m DOM Croods- 43m OW, 187m DOM Monsters and Alien- 59 OW, 198m DOM How To Train Your Dragon- 43m OW, 217m DOM
I'll play safe and say 35m OW and 130m DOM, but I can see it breakout at the higher end for over 40m OW and final gross of around 150m
Ghost in the Shell has suffered from whitewashing backlash that alienates its already limited audience, and likely poor reviews-- Scarlett is a famous name but Lucy seems to be the absolute ceiling for this film (and that film had an easy to sell concept and released in a dead summer compared to crowded marketplace in March) 43m OW, 126m DOM, 463m WW
I'd say 32m OW, 90m DOM, 390m WW total

I see Boss Baby doing business closer to Mr. Peabody and Sherman. I was betting Ghost in the Shell would do higher than $30 million this weekend, even with Beauty and the Beast still dominating.
