I'm talking about believability. Even if something sounds like it would never happen doesn't mean that it can't. If the audience think it laughable then it is better left untold. Ah, yes, I can agree with that as well. I think that there is a lot to be said for the philosophical idea of "nothing is scarier than what you don't understand," though. I agree but I still believe there are certain movies where the reveal is necessary because it is thought provoking. Had there been no reveal in "Get Out" that would have been a huge miscalculation. Then you have movies where there is maybe a zombie invasion and nobody needs to know why that happened.

Us was pretty great before the final act. It made no sense. It would have been better to not even tell us why any of that was happening.

Based on the early reactions from the screening yesterday, this is supposedly pretty good. Often being put on the same level as signs and split. The performances and camera work are getting most of the praise.
Apparently it really delves into body horror

There are times where you side-eye the plot but never the camera work.
