I didn't see a thread for it, so I'm sorry if I missed it.
There's a new trailer for it.
Carrell looks funny and not unbearable for me, so that's a nice change of pace from his floppy movies/performances. There were some funny bits, and I know it's hard to tell from a 2:30 minute trailer, but this concept seems ripe for a lot of laughs and not sure the show will live up to the expectations I had formed about it.
I'll probably still watch it unless it gets really bad reviews and even then I'd probably still watch a few episodes to see if I like it. (Also it could be me, because I'm in a rush right now trying to do stuff that maybe my attention could have been devoted more to absorbing more of the trailer, so I might have to watch it again later.)
One of the main issues, if the not the main one, is that the show can't seem to decide whether Carell's character is a decent and smart guy, although too old-fashioned and unflexible for his own good, or a bumbling idiot stumbling from one idiocy to the next.
