Your thoughts? I just saw this performance and it blew me away, just incredible work, creepy and haunting and you can see his influence on his son's later great performance. Can't believe it took me years to see the film and the score is f'n amazing. Al Pacino said he used Huston's performance to help him with his Devil's Advocate performance.

Love it - it's such a creative and imaginative performance full of mischief and wit. You can literally go crazy seeing how Pacino took things from 1940s movies especially (and earlier than that too) and sort of did a twist on them - he does this a lot. I've never heard him talk about this film but I can totally see that in the joy of performance aspect especially. That score is so frantically exciting and playful and ominous

One of my favorite cinematic devils -- he just dominates the film so thoroughly that you forget he's only in for a handful of scenes.
