This one is officially about how much Trolls World Tour made outside of movie theaters all month: Nearly $100 million
While I do understand where they're are coming from at this time, I also think those movie owners are just being so unreasonable about this move. They KNEW what Universal were up against when they made their last-minute decisions to handle some of their upcoming movies (like other studios too). They fear they might 'lose' more of their traditional businesses to PVOD if it becomes a new pattern. I mean, if the creation of television and TV movies haven't done much to hurt their businesses decades ago, then I doubt digital services would. This is likely a temporary thing they're doing to protect customers.
