I choose House 5

Eww, I don't like any of them. House 5 is clearly the best. Not familiar with Phillips, but the others are all at least tolerable.

I was going to choose House 4 , but I noticed Chazelle's name and I became violently ill.
House 7 it is.

God, I don't really like any of them. Basically all of these are a weird combination of filmmakers I do like and ones I don't. I guess the all-around best one is ... House 2?

Jesus, House 2 sounds like my own personal hell.

House 2... but I feel like half of my time would be hiding from Tarantino, Lee, and Schrader so I could have some peace and quiet. Fincher seems like he'd have a super stash of booze laying around somewhere and Soderbergh... come to think of it, I don't know what he'd be doing. Probably filming the quarrels between Lee and Tarantino and releasing it on Netflix.
Plus, I would have Cameron draw me like one of those French girls and frame it... then drop it into the ocean at the end of the quarantine.

^ Well if we're basing it on which group we'd wanna hang out with, I'd go with House 6. Bong is the only all-around great filmmaker there, but they all seem like cool people.

House 3 or 6. 5 could work too.

Definitely House 2 'cause I'd just try to pull Tarantino aside and spend the whole quarantin chatting about movies. And if I'd get bored I'd just let him fight with Spike Lee. Although Cameron's ass would probably be controlling as hell. And I would love a woman in the mix. Not for phony diversity issues but for other more important ones.

House 5 - Scorsese can cook and pick the films for movie night - that's two big things - and I can hide snacks I want for myself in his eyebrows ............and I can try to get him drunk and say pro-Pacino stuff that I can later post on this board as proof of something or other Todd Phillips can run out to the supermarket when we need him to (he'll be happy to go for Marty!) Villeneuve and Aronofsky will have pretentious arguments I can just ignore Nolan and McQueen will be nearly invisible as they are British so I think they will spend a good deal of time drinking tea and having crisps as they will find Scorsese's sauces too heavy. If anything Nolan will lock himself in his room and work on the vaccine.......

If it means that we are rid of Baumbach and Gerwig, I'm okay with the collateral damage of nuking house 4.

I'll go with House 4 so I can hang with Anderson and Coppola. Gerwig seems nice too even though I am not a huge fan of her movies.

If you’re telling me I can hang around with Olivia Wilde than I’ll suffer through Bo Burnham for any length of time that would require.

I thought this was about their works, and I would have went with House #4 because I think that's a pretty good balance for me. I like the directors from House #2, but I feel it would be a little too bro friendly if that's all I could watch. The other houses have directors I like, but then directors whose work I don't think I could watch if that's the only choice I had.
If we're talking about living with the actual people, I'd have to go with House #6 because I think they'd be the friendliest to get along with; although House #3 would probably be really friendly too. I would never be cool enough for House #4 and be voted out by everyone else. House #1 and House #7 would probably make me too paranoid. House #2 would have too many egos, and probably House #5 too. Finally I feel like in House #8 I feel like I'd do something to offend someone because I'm such a hick, so I don't think I could totally relax.

House 5 or 6 pretty easily.
House 4 would be dead last due to the Baumbach/Gerwig combo

1- Eh, Peele and Kent are good but not worth hanging out with others 2- They're all good filmmakers but something tells me that one of them would kill me if I'll be there for a long time so no 3- This could be a peaceful place, and they all seem cool. I'll consider it. 4- I would choose this one 4 years ago, but this place would be soooooooooo pretentious honestly, even tho they're all great filmmakers to their credit. Others not so much come to think of it, but Baumbach seems insufferable as all hell enough to eliminate this one for me, though he is probably the best filmmaker of the bunch. It's be kinda fun to watch Marriage Story as a drinking game in front of him though I'd choose this house if it was not indefinite 5- Others are very cool but I just can't with Aronofsky and Philips 6- Dream team <3 7- If I steer clear of Noe throughout (his films are too......much for me, even when good), this could be the best one cause you just know you'll get the groceries via Lynch 8- All are good, but locked with them this long I might eventually get bored so not this, sorry. So 3 vs 6 vs 7. 7 has drawback kinda (Noe) so not that. Also, idk Jenkins kinda annoyed me during the Moonlight campaign, as much as I like him, also I'm not huuuuge on Wilde. Also, knowing Bong's filmography, his perspective could be really interesting to hear at this time, plus they're all quite comforting presences it seems, so I'll go with 6. If the q was which group of films I'd watch, then house 4 without doubt. All others have drawbacks.

2 or 4, I think. They're the only ones that don't have someone that just puts me off all the good ones.

I find her one of the more irritating presences I find myself subjected to on Twitter and that's like one tweet every couple of weeks. Wouldn't want to stuck in a house with her

Wouldn't want to stuck in a house with her I find her placement in the house really weird. Every other director there has made some sort of critically acclaimed fantasy or sci-fi film. Ava made A Wrinkle in Time.Unfortunately, I don't think I'd like that house simply because it seems like a very extroverted "fun" house, and I like my peace and quiet. I'd probably stick with house 5. Aronofsky and Phillips sound a bit like try-hards, but mostly it looks like I could keep my equilibrium there.

Wouldn't want to stuck in a house with her I had the same thought, but I figured that the other 5 people would work really hard to make sure she stays in a good mood and doesn't bring down the mood of the house. Although like Martin Stett, I do mostly like peace and quiet, so I could see the directors of House 6 getting on my nerves after only a really short time.
