Considering expectations and budget, that actually seems alright for Bloodshot. Meh to the other new openers.

In a few weeks, there won't be any openers... It wouldn't surprise me if Bloodshot is #1 for a whole month with some of the lowest numbers ever posed for a major release. We're in uncharted territory as far as the box office is concerned, especially without any blockbusters from the big studios.

Of course the Hollywood industry will also take a serious knock

Holy christ those numbers are horrific. I mean it’s not surprising but still....jeez. Everything's dropping 50+%. The next few months at the box office are going to be a literal wasteland. I especially feel sorry for all the animators who worked on Onward. Disney can easily take a hit on the movie, but it must be awful knowing that the movie that you worked hard on, got released just during the beginning of a big pandemic, and highly suffered at the box office because of it.

China might not save some of those movies either (unless postponement takes place?).

I predicted The Invisible Man would make over $100M,for obvious reason I don't think that's happening anymore. It did manage to have the best drop in the top ten, but yeah. It and Onward were the two movies easily affected by the Corinavirus virus. Both could have done much more, but now they'll fall short of 80m, and die overseas. Rather depressing.

Bet Birds Of Prey wished it had waited a month or so later to release. This situation would be the perfect excuse for it's flopping.
That's probably the only positive for upcoming releases. Anyone behind or associated with a box office flop can be absolved of direct blame or responsibility. Every studio and filmmaker has an extremely good excuse why their movie didn't do well.

Not just didn't do well, but also why their films were delayed. Disney and other studios are putting on hold not just their blockbusters, but also their smaller or prestigey films for the time being. Everything's going to be affected. Honestly, wouldn't surprise me if we start seeing "non major studio films" topping the box office with pathetic numbers. The next few months are gonna be rough as far as theaters are concerned.

......at least it’s something! It's good to see at least some older theaters are doing okay. Plus it makes sense that they'd do this. It's a logical way to see a movie without being a danger to others and vice-versa.
