I just want to see him work with Julie Andrews before she dies. I don't know why this has been in my head forever, but it has.

There is only one photo of Cheung as the previous movie owner- Huppert was allegedly acting like a diva. Her loss. Hasn't been in an English language film that mattered since Huckabees.

As the resident biased self proclaimed Pine Nut (just look at my avatar) , I love his glowing review of Unstoppable and Chris Pine.
And even though I think Tarantino has lost a bit of his luster and isn't as great as he once was, he is still talented as hell and I'd kill to see Pine in one of his films.

Hugh Grant. In an 2015 Sunday Times interview, he mentioned "The Rewrite" as one of his favorite films of that year and described Grant as a "perfect leading man" and added that he considers writing a part for him since he "can see him in his stuff."

Assuming Tarantino does indeed stop at 10 films, it's going to be interesting to see who he casts for his final film. Any guesses or hopes?
A reunion with one of his two star favorites in Pitt and DiCaprio? You're going to have to assume Jackson is going to be in it in some capacity, because to not have him would be unfortunate. Maybe even Waltz, who he's seen great success with. And then there are actors he's never worked with like Depp, Winslet, Pine, Lawrence, and Streep that he's mentioned wanting to work with. Not to mention the Tarantino wildcard, like a Val Kilmer perhaps?

I think Matthew McConaughey would be an interesting casting choice for him.

Wishlist for his final film.
DiCaprio (yes, for a third time, Tarantino reveres him and he always elevates his films with his genius improvisations) Scarlett Johansson Chris Pine Michael Shannon Meryl Streep
He always said that he wanted to make a Bonnie and Clyde type of gangster film in the 1930s. I can imagine it with this cast (LDC as a Clyde-type of role, Johansson as Bonnie, Pine in an Hackman-type of role).

Not to mention the Tarantino wildcard, like a Val Kilmer perhaps? This sounds great but given his voice condition, would he be able to act without dubbing? There's also Mickey Rourke whom he considered for "Pulp Fiction" and later "Death Proof" but just didn't happen. In one of those 90s interviews, he also highly praised Nic Cage and Sean Penn.

Meryl would be a great choice. He can reign her in and prevent her from exhibiting her worst tendencies.
As far as a personal wishlist goes I'd love to see Amy Adams in a Tarantino movie. It'd be such a departure to the type of roles she's been in.

I could have pictured McConaughey as Calvin Candie in Django Unchained so good call there and would love for him to get a staring role in a Tarantino film for sure!(perhaps a neo noir western maybe) He would crush it I still want Tarantino to explore another genre like sci fi (coughStar Trekcough) but its probably a pipe dream at this point at this point but a boy can dream! haha

Really hoping he doesn’t stop at 10 because I’m very interested to see how he will continue to evolve as a filmmaker. And to give more opportunities to work with more actors.

Depp! I actually think he's perfect for QT's Bounty Law mini-series. January 2020 he said -- “As far as the Bounty Law shows, I want to do that, but it will take me a year and a half. I ended up writing five half-hour episodes. So I’ll do them, and I will direct all of them.” Assuming Leo's out, Depp needs the career boost and fits the star bill he needs for the concept. I'd definitely go Depp or (never-Westerned) Cage, but that's me.

Hugh Grant in The Gentlemen is kinda Tarantinoy. And I had no idea QT liked The Rewrite - his wide ranging taste in movies is by far my fav thing about him. That's a breezy underrated movie that captures its college campus and film class in a surprisingly true way.

Isn't Depp now a complete pariah and poison for any studio or company?? I don't think anyone in Hollywood wants to stay near him right now.

Some people love to make fun of QT all the time but I've always admired his cinephile side. I don't always agree with him obviously but I love to see how passionate he is about watching and talking about movies. Actually wish he'd keep on writing reviews on the New Beverly site. They were interesting to read; he sure has a fascination with Siegel and Bogdanovich. He is a fan of Marc Lawrence-Grant collaborations, with an obvious exception of dreadful "Morgans". While I've enjoyed "Music & Lyrics", I gotta say "The Rewrite" is probably my favorite one. It doesn't feel like a commercial work in any way. The characters and situations feel very real, dialogues are witty and it's the probably the first film where Grant has started to embrace his maturity. It needed more Tomei though. Her part felt underwritten. I agree about "The Gentlemen" and it seems his next role in "Five Eyes" will be in a similar vein; a possibly eccentric arms dealer with a North London accent.

His piece on Jim Brown was great and made me view him in a whole new way (Brown and QT who had a black stepfather, surprise-surprise). He's releasing a book sometime this year called Cinema Speculation - “a deep dive into the movies of the 1970’s, a rich mix of essays, reviews, personal writing, and tantalizing what if’s." He's been popping up on podcasts recently too, some run like 4 hours long (why I haven't listened yet lol). Give him a mic, tell him to talk movies, and he can go.

Some insider dude Daniel Richtman recently said Depp is still pushing for a part in the Addams project. If anybody would I think Burton 'd be the guy to stand up for him as they're like family at this point. Or like I said that QT project where Netflix or whoever wouldn't wanna tell him No.

I didn't notice those writings are now gone from the website. At least, I can't find them now but anyway, really looking forward to that book. It's very admirable that he wants to champion the films he really likes and do everything possible to promote them. I mean the dude had his own festival even and screened some films that I've never heard before. I'm yet to catch up with some of these podcasts as well but no wonder Edgar Wright has joined him on one of them, another guy who just love to talk about cinema and promote rare gems. Them having a wide range of taste always helps. Last year QT was also great on that three-part ‘Rewatchables’ series.

He'd "love to work" with Chevy Chase.
