They just filmed for about 20 days.
How about not resuming? Who needs another one...

I feel dumb because I thought he took a break, but looking at his IMDb page, he's been working quite a lot just not in anything that I've seen I guess. Hopefully this leads to bigger things for him again because I remember when he was being pushed as the next big thing, and I don't think he ever quite delivered on that promise even though I do think he is a consistently good actor. He just never really broke through with the general audience. I'm sure some would go "Hey! It's that guy who was in that dying movie with Julia Roberts", but I don't think he has any iconic or memorable things like Stanley Tucci has been in. Oh wow! I just looked up how old he was, and he's almost 60. I'm sure he'll continue to work, but I'm less confident about a proper breakthrough now. Mostly I feel really old though.

I also had no idea that he's still active but seemingly most of those are supporting or guest appearances on TV shows that are not really popular. I've never even heard some of them. He makes my line-up for "Roger Dodger" and also great in "Secret Lives of Dentists" and "Handsome Harry". So it's nice to see him back on movies again. Some of his directorial efforts were also good ("Off the Map", "Big Night").

Even though I am a Campbell Scott fan, and even though Lewis Dodgson has always been one of my random favorite villains and I hate that he wasn't followed up on in the sequel as he was in the book, I have zero interest in this.

I'm not sure Campbell Scott really wants to break through. It feels like ever since the failure of Dying Young in 1991 (which was an attempt to make him a big star), he's basically become anti-Hollywood. I was looking over his filmography again, and amazingly with the exception of Dead Again, Singles, and Big Night, which was a sleeper hit that made over 10m despite only being in 300 theaters at most, between 1991 and 2005, Scott was in like more then ten movies that at best barely made a million dollars at the box office. Mainstream was clearly not his forte. Now Scott's always been an interesting actor to me, because for the longest time I find him to be so anonymous, but he's really grown on me as a performer with movies like Roger Dodger, and The Spanish Prisoner, showing his range. Playing Dodgson just feels like a paycheck role, similar to when he played Peter's father in The Amazing Spider-Man films (remember when he was in those?), because otherwise he's still appearing in mostly movies you've probably never heard of.

Goldblum, Neil and Dern are all back! I haven't seen a single JP movie since JP 3 but I think I'm gonna watch this.

The movie could just be that one tweet and I'd be happy.
Also how is it possible that Sam Neill's hairline hasn't changed since 1993??? Lucky fuck.

Those shooters missing that big of a target are just ridiculous.

So it's Mission: Impossible but with dinos instead of your usual faceless bad guys and with an extra high degree of silliness. I'm sold

Infect them with a virus, and you'll get rid of them fast.

Lol I totally forgot that Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler broke up in JP3.... when they act like they haven't seen each other in a while in the trailer, I initially thought they were doing like a Han and Leia in The Force Awakens style reunion where they were together the last time we saw them but have since broken up, and now circumstances require that they meet again.

Something I just realized. Blue has a pup, but she was said to be the last of her species. Now we can assume she was impregnated before Fallen Kingdom, but the only other raptors were her own siblings. All of them female, though, unless they pulled the move of switching to male in a single sex environment, and all of them killed at the end of Jurassic World. So this either implies incest breeding, or that this is a narrative decision that makes no fucking sense.

Don’t get me wrong, I assume so, but I was just like “wait, what?” Also, if she did mate with another raptor, given how protective Owen clearly is of her, I’m a little surprised that he’d be cool with it.
