Paranoia Agent is top kino.
Yeah.... his career was too short. Much more to explore.

Paranoia Agent is top kino. Yeah.... his career was too short. Much more to explore. I've been wanting to watch World Apartment Horror for a while. Directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, written by Kon and Keiko Nobumoto (co-writer of Tokyo Godfathers, also head writer on Cowboy Bebop) and starring Sabu. A horror comedy with political overtones about the treatment of Japan's immigrant population that looks like it could be remade today to fit Trump's America while changing very little. Both Tokyo Godfathers and Paranoia Agent are very focused on social issues that frustrated Kon, and this looks like something that has his fingerprints etched deeply into its DNA.

I still haven't seen Paranoia Agent; of his feature films:
1. Perfect Blue - to compare this to Black Swan is an insult to Perfect Blue. 2. Paprika - to compare this to Inception is an insult to Paprika. 3. Tokyo Godfathers 4. Millennium Actress
