Best: Parasite's four very deserved wins and Hildur Worst: Renée Zellweger, Taika Waititi, Laura Dern, Ford v Ferrari

FAVORITE: - Roger Deakins!!! - Bong for Best Director. Even though I'm not that big on Parasite and have been supporting other contenders, the mere surprise and delight of this win melted even me! - Ford v Ferrari for Editing and Sound Editing.
LEAST FAVORITE: - Waititi, yeah. - The Rocketman song tbh. Pretty tiresome stuff.

FAVORITE: * Anything Parasite, 1917 and Jojo-related. * Hildur. * Phoenix and Dern. It's not their best work, but it so rarely is that win these prizes, and they should've won in this decade in other categories, so I'm good with it. * Zellweger, just for her comeback story.
LEAST FAVORITE: * Pitt, I guess? And even then, I'm not that pressed about it.
All in all, a good night for me.

All four Bong rips. I may not love the Phoenix and Dern performances, but I am thrilled that two of my favorites are now Oscar winners and they had two of the loveliest speeches of the night. Shoutout to Hildur whose win I (surprise!) actually like and who had a killer speech as well. And also, two-time Oscar winner Roger Deakins!
Worst wins ... um, anytime The Irishman lost to something other than Parasite? Can Marty films only win things if they're in his mid/low tier? Ugh.

Favorite:
- Best Picture - Best Director - Best Original Screenplay
Least Favorite - Editing (give it to The Irishman) - None of the other wins were awful, just predicable. I can't believe The Irishman didn't win anything.

Best: Parasite (Also gonna throw in Dern bc of the haters)
Least: Pitt. Like truly. His competition was way better. He was not “due”. Why it was nominated is beyond me but fine whatever dude can get a bone....but WIN?! For that?? What did he even do

Best: Jojo Rabbit for screenplay. Yes, you heard it.
Worst: Most of them are pretty bad but Toy Story 4 is the most offensive since there are 2 brilliant alternatives.

Favourite: Anything Parasite, Toy Story 4 and Hair Love in the Animated categories, 1917 and Ford v Ferrari's tech wins, Hollywood in Production Design
Least Favourite: Uhh... I don't know, Laura Dern? They made good choices this year. Though it's bit of a bummer that The Irishman didn't win anything.

Best: Roger Deakins!!!!!
Can't comment much on others, cause I haven't seen lots of contenders exactly. But Deakins' cinematography is all-time-worthy.

Favorite: Bong and Parasite wins.
Least favorite: Laura Dern's win, I mean she's about on the same level as Alda and Liotta and they didn't get nominated, so she shouldn't have been either.
Julia Fox or Idina Menzel deserved that Oscar this year, but the academy didn't even bother to watch the film. Sums up how much of a shitshow the Oscars are really.

Best: Parasite for all! Taika Waititi (don't care about Jojo Rabbit, but happy he's an Oscar winner)
Least: Phoenix (not even his best performance. The other 4 were much more deserving)
