the election keyed me into Crooked Media's Hysteria hosted by political writer Erin Ryan and former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Alyssa Mastromonaco under Obama, and now I'm obsessively binging all the old eps. Just a couple of funny, politically outspoken, GOP-hating, angry feminist professional ladies. Pundit-y as hell which I try to avoid but I need it right now.

I've really been into The Life After podcast this month. Recently read up on Religious Trauma Syndrome and found my way to this very therapeutic discussion down memory lane.

Has anyone ever listened to "movies by minutes" podcasts where each episode covers a single minute of a movie? I knew the Star Wars one existed, but I wasn't aware of how many other podcasts it inspired: moviesbyminutes.com/Never listened to any of these before, but I kinda want to check out the one on The Dark Knight trilogy (which I really should have hosted myself dammit). Other ones that I'm curious about are The Godfather and maybe Indiana Jones (since I watched those movies so many times as a kid, I basically have them all memorized) ... but I don't think I'm enough of a hardcore fan of any of the other films to really commit to listening to hundreds of episodes on them.

2 Bears 1 Cave never fails to have me laughing uncontrollably. Also, there is a new podcast by Roger Deakins!!! I haven’t listened to it yet but pretty pumped. It's very good. He gets big names to come on, and because of their familiarity/friendships with Deakins, the conversations run long and are very relaxed. I listened to the Joel Coen, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Ed Zwick ones so far.

I listen to Chapo Trap House, Cumtown (yes that's the actual podcast name), and Trueanon (Note: the name is mocking QAnon types)
Chapo and Trueanon are leftie podcasts that despise liberals as much as they despise conservatives, and they eschew SJW culture war BS. Same with Trueanon. The hosts are also pretty funny.
Chapo also reviews movies and shows so I recommend it to MAR members who are also progressive/DSA types/left-wing.
Cumtown is not left-wing, but it is absolutely hilarious. It's vulgar and VERY ~problematic~, but they somehow pull it off. I love it

Club Random with Bill MaherOnly watched this episode - it's pretty new - but this is some funny guy shit, Bill seems awfully high here and QT is nursing his drink for a loooooooooooooong time..........some hilarious stuff about dumb things in movies - Titanic / Zane especially, QT also breaks down Blacula - priceless ............and is about to tell a possibly great The Day The Clown Cried story when Bill cuts him off and they never get back to it. Wtf........
