1) Mad Men- really liked the first two seasons, but fell behind and never caught up. Will do it eventually. 2) Seinfeld- in my top 5, unbelievably rewatchable. I've probably watched an episode of Seinfeld on at least 50% of the days of my life since age 10. 3) The Wire- still can't get past the first 4 episodes. 4) The Sopranos- the GOAT for me. 5) Breaking Bad- loved the first four seasons for the most part, the terrible fifth knocked it from my top 10 to barely my top 20. 6) Fargo- unbelievably overrated. Loved some of the performances (Billy Bob, Freeman, Dunst) and it's far from bad, but it has never really been anywhere near great for me. Season 1 is like a 7/10, season 2 maybe a 6.5. 7) Black Mirror- need to see it. 8) The Americans- in my top 10, and I can definitely see it rising into the top 5 by the time it ends. 9) Game of Thrones- same thing as Mad Men, except I've only seen season 1. 10) Buffy the Vampire Slayer- lovvvvvved it when I was a kid, haven't watched much of it since. I struggled with The Wire at first as well. It's definitely a show you have to pay full attention to, and have to be in the mood for. But once you get further into season 1, I think it finally clicks and it becomes incredible. I'd recommend going back to it. Buffy is a bit of a weird mix of stuff that works best when you're younger (a lot of the demon battles) and stuff that you can actually appreciate more when you're older. After rewatching some of the later seasons, I was surprised at how dark it could get at times.

Seriously, Mad Men is next level greatness. It's a slow burn for sure, with much more emphasis on character than plot, but the characters are so great that's just another plus.

Your insistence is just the nudge I need, I will try to make more of an effort to watch it. Our lists are quite similar: 1) Game of Thrones2) Seinfeld3) Six Feet Under4) The Sopranos5) Breaking Bad6) Fargo 7) The Affair8) The Walking Dead9) Alias10) Buffy the Vampire Slayer
