The first trailer for Devs.I'm a huge fan of Alex Garland, this is my most anticipated show of the year.

Some cringe dialogue in that trailer - I loved Ex Machina and like that Garland wrote-directed the whole thing but I lost interest pretty quickly with this kind of sci-fi in the longer form, like with Legion also FX, it can quickly feel too deliberate and drawn out and then I'm out.

I keep forgetting about this. It looks very interesting and so far the 1st reviews are overall favorable (some of the critics mention there are pacing issues). Can't wait to see what Garland has up his sleeves with this one!

The first two episodes were really good, very, very intriguing. If you liked Alex Garland's other films, and I did,you will almost certainly like this.Nick Offerman is the mvp so far.

Finished this now. Very much of mixed bag for me. It deals with some interesting questions (determinism, many-world interpretations etc.) and most of the sci-fi is great (quite some machine, that). However, I do think it suffers, at times, from mediocre writing (both in terms of dialogue and characters acting irrationally). Also, not so sure that I appreciated the ending, would have liked them to another way there.

Recently saw a trailer for this and I'm intrigued. Plan on giving it a try sometime soon.
