Gonna finish counting these ballots after I finish this paper I have due at midnight.
I'm thinking Friday at 8pm for the presentation.
As for now, feel free to make some pre-presentation predictions.

Gonna finish counting these ballots after I finish this paper I have due at midnight. I'm thinking Friday at 8pm for the presentation. As for now, feel free to make some pre-presentation predictions. I'd guess it will be a Nevermind/OK Computer Steel Cage match for the top spot but I'm holding out hope that Pavement makes several appearances on the list and if not I look forward to complaining about it to everyone

Will try and catch it, as I'm fascinated to see this one pan out.
I could more than live with OK Computer as a winner. I could even live with Nevermind, although forget best of the 90s, it isn't my even favourite Nirvana album, but it is quality stuff for the most part. Still, I would really love a shocker at the Top Spot though.
I'm just crossing my fingers that Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie (or both) make the Top 10, and that something from Bjork, the ruler of the 90s, makes the list somewhere.

As usual, this is a Top 50. #50-26 will be presented in 5s and then 1 by 1 when we hit the Top 25.

A total of 192 albums received at least 1 mention, the most yet in these polls.
The highest amount of appearances was 8/13 ballots. That was our #1.
Our winner took the lead on the very first ballot and never surrendered the lead. It wasn't even close.
The minimum amount of points needed to make the Top 51 was 26 so just being #1 wasn't enough this time.

Ties were broken by the usual format:
1. # of ballot appearances 2. Highest ballot ranking 3. Average ballot ranking
We still ended up with 1 tie in the middle of the list.

Still, both are rightly here.

Not familiar with 14 Songs, but this is an otherwise fantastic bunch. I wish Odelay was higher, but that's life. Delighted 13 made it.

I am genuinely delighted Ray of Light made it, and Top 40 too. A phenomenal album, and that high vote was mine. Cheers to the other voter.

Actually a very diverse list so far, pop, Art rock, Indie, 80s holdovers, metal/hard rock .......much more diverse it seems than the 80s one ..........so far at least.......

I made the executive decision to have Use Your Illusion counted as one big album instead of split into 1/2. Made even easier when 2 of those ballots included both albums as 1 spot and the other only included one of the two on the ballot entirely.

Another top bunch, and two of my Queens in it. PJ is wonderful and Bjork is just other worldly. Crossing my fingers for Post to get in too. The Guns guys are a welcome addition as well.

So happy that we have Massive Attack on the list. I wish we could also have Blue Lines, but that's probably not going to happen at this point.

Delighted Alanis made so high, although she's a bit low. Shocking that The Downward Spiral is so low...I figured Top 10 for that.
