I assume they are going to start shooting interiors soon or else this whole film is going to leak in photographs, daily Serving another great look. They change costumes quickly. This movie is going to get me in trouble at work for how much I get on social media when I’m not supposed to be just to see if there’s anything new. I complain now about so much footage, but I know I’m going to be sad when we stop getting anything.

This is everything to me. Same... I want that turtleneck! Similar to the Chris Evans one.

Hmmmmmm.........fine with me - accents don't usually matter for me and the thought of Leto botching it is almost weirdly perversely thrilling - heck he'll do an accent anyway But I'm not sure how this will fly - I think Irons, Pacino almost have to do them........Camille Cottin speaks English with a French accent irl - so will be interesting to see who does what exactly. The Adam Driver Files @adamdriverfiles
According to a source on the #HouseOfGucci set, the actors do not speak Italian in the film (other than the occasional word) and Adam and Lady Gaga speak with an American accent.

I prefer this over the caricature of an accent. And I don't say this because I'm Italian, but... Italian accent can be particularly jarring if not done well.

Bobby Deerfield - France Revolution, Local Stigmatic - England Godfathers, Merchant of Venice, House of Gucci - Italy
Just thinking about..... Have any legendary American actors been in fewer overseas set or shot movies than Pacino?... Nicholson maybe? You know the old Coppola quote about Pacino turning down Apocalypse Now, 'He would've played the role if we filmed it in his NYC apartment.' It's almost eighteen years since he played Shylock in Italy, glad this project got him outta the house! I'm almost obsessing over getting the first pics of him in character... any day now...

Janty Yates working overtime! We love to see it, as they say.
I doubt that box office will fully normalize by the time of the film's release but I wonder how much money this would've made under usual circumstances. A Star is Born was a huge hit which in many ways was because of Gaga but that had her playing a singer so the appeal was obvious. I don't think that overall a Gucci movie would've been a particularly big hit but judging from the enormous amount of attention this movie is already getting I think that Gaga's involvement would've turned it into a sizeable success. Could she become the next truly big movie star?

Even though it's not a musical, it is the next best thing: a juicy true-crime story. I think there's every real chance this could be a big one for ol' Ridley.

I think we'll almost be back to normal in November, so box office could be good, especially with Gaga playing a murdering wife. Hype on Twitter is insane.

Could she become the next truly big movie star? I was thinking about this the other day on the way to work. The last week I’d wake up, and there would be new pictures, and it seemed like everyone would lose their minds on social media about them especially that picture of Gaga and Driver where she’s in her Russian hat. It was even mentioned on The Tonight Show last night. It surprised me in a way although I guess it could just be social media not translating to real world popularity because other singer turned actors generally haven’t had a lot of box office success. Granted it could be because they’re not exactly that good at acting a lot of times, at least thinking about Madonna of course, or some other big current day female pop stars that have acted like Taylor Swift or Beyoncé who have had so-so results. Gaga at least has ASIB under her belt. Plus Driver has a following on social media because of SW, but I don’t think he is or ever will be a huge draw. (Although I guess it’s possible at one time something like Marriage Story could have been a decent hit when people went to see adult dramas.) Plus I guess it’s just great timing since we haven’t really had set pics like this in forever because of the pandemic, and for a lot of people, at least me lol, it’s exciting to see these two stars in glamorous clothes. It makes things seem almost normal. Janty Yates working overtime! We love to see it, as they say. Yeah this is probably one of the big reasons it’s so big that I didn’t consider at the time. People love juicy true-crime stories, and surprisingly this one hasn’t been done yet in film or television, at least to this level. Plus the more I find out about it, the more wild it seems, and then there’s the real life Patrizia Reggiani whose helping the film get even more attention by complaining Gaga never met with her. The more that comes out about her, the more batshit crazy she seems. I think we'll almost be back to normal in November, so box office could be good, especially with Gaga playing a murdering wife. Hype on Twitter is insane. Yeah I saw a few people already say that this feels like the first big event movie that at least so far hasn’t been delayed over and over again, and now there seems like there’s light at the end of the tunnel where we can actually go to theaters safely again by November. Like I’m sure Black Widow and No Time to Die will be big whenever they finally open, but I think many people are just tired of getting excited about seeing those movies to having their hopes dashed so many times over the past year or so. At least so far, (knock on wood), this movie doesn’t have that baggage.

Also at least one of his quirkier other career stuff is shot overseas in a way too - Wilde Salome - in the UK (maybe Ireland too?) where are they when he "portrays" Wilde (!) .................. Looking For Richard I think he goes to the Globe Theater etc. and to interview Gielgud/Redgrave and of course don't even start on the the stuff he was supposed to make but didn't - at least 2 or 3 Napolean projects (wtf) - most notably Betsy and The Emperor and if he had done the Modigliani movie with Scorsese like he should have .....but I digress

Jack Huston's character identified now : Domenico De Sole worked for leading U.S. law firms, before becoming a partner at the Washington DC firm Patton, Boggs & Blow, specialising in tax law. One of his clients in the early 1980s was Gucci, where he helped with corporate restructuring, and Rodolfo Gucci, a son of the founder Guccio Gucci, enticed De Sole to join in 1984 as CEO of Gucci America. De Sole was president and CEO of Gucci Group from 1994 to 2004. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domenico_De_Sole

I've said this before but this is 2 straight times where his "annoying" real life schtick is dove-tailing with his parts - not just creepy or weird - or but genuinely annoying. "Little Things" was a total botch to me but he didn't even appear in that until like the 45 minute mark which is fairly amazing how much he's remembered - for good or bad - in it. First I'm fearful House of Gucci will be a good film at all given how overstuffed the material is though obviously the upside to this material is really spectacular .........but second I'm worried if it even is good that he may steal it and somehow ruin it by stealing it anyway
