That's an awful lot of films to only pick 3 from. I voted Donnie Darko, ET & Arrival... but basically because they were the first 3 I picked more than all my favourites necessarily.
I would like to take this opportunity to say, that while I am not sure whether it fits the science fiction category, I adore Cloud Atlas. I loved the book and I loved the film and there we are. Like REALLY love both.
I'll also use the opportunity to say, I still need to watch Moon!
