Directed by Debra Granik (Winter's Bone). The role looks strong enough and he probably has some goodwill left over from Hell Or High Water. Also if he gets good reviews for Hostiles it will help him out.

Don't forget Galveston, which is quite a baity part provided the film captures the feel of the book. Looks to be a bang-up year for Big Ben. Guy's gone underappreciated long enough.

I really hope so. He's overdue for a nomination big time. He should've had a few by now.

I'd love to see him get nominated. However, it's still too soon to say.

I am up for any film that can offer an opportunity for a nomination or Oscar for Ben Foster! Oh! That rhymed! I had no idea an adaptation of Galveston was happening either - great news and I have a great imagining of Ben in it now!
