No idea but Gigaheart's thread about "Mulholland Dr./Doctor" was up there with the funniest things I've seen online.
Gloede, Oldale, and EvaYojimbo were my favorite posters back on IMDB, wish they were on here.

That's like half the people on the internet. Gonna have to be more specific.

Anyone remember CliveBixby saying Carey Mulligan in Inside Llewyn Davis was his all-time #1 for supporting actress? His American Hustle review was unforgettable. "Yeah, pretty disappointing, tbh, a step down from Silver Linings Playbook and not as good as I expected it to be. Probably makes my top 15 of all time, definitely not top 10 though."

That reminds me of his "I'm only halfway finished, but I think I have a new #1 of all time" thread about... Casino I think?

If a pretty disappointing movie makes his top 15 of all times, I guess he watched 20-25 movies at best.

Anyone remember CliveBixby saying Carey Mulligan in Inside Llewyn Davis was his all-time #1 for supporting actress? You'd think I'd remember that, but if I'd seen anyone say that, I would've clicked that ignore button so fast I'd break my finger.

Thumbs up. I rank it 732 out of 1,314 films I’ve seen. PS. I did not watch the second half, but I assume it is just as good as the first.”

Aight, who remembers good ol' Bart Linney, Tia Tenenbaum, Glengarry Glen Wright.... the wise Bing, the Shep... and the poetic Breakfast the Provincial who always wrote in lower-case.... Maybe they're still around here under a different name? lol As Goggins says in Hateful Eight, "O.B. never hurt nobody!"

Oh how I miss that psycho who devoted his life to convincing the mankind that Jerry Goldsmith was the sole reason for the success of Chinatown and that Polanski had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the finished movie

I remember these long threads of 2016 Portman vs. Stone which of course have some of the usual suspects on here - who, let's just say never talk about performances or movies but always talk about awards/nominations/front runners ........which is ..........fine I guess. The Portman people I remember being questionably mentally stable back then (in that race, no disrespect to her but she had a pretty bad fan-boy base then iirc).
I mean it all went to Hell in a hand basket pretty quick but some of that 2016 stuff was monumental (looking back safely from a distance).

Glengarry-Glen-Wright. I always thought that if any of us were to wind up becoming an Oscar winner, it'd be him.
