I know it didn't get a Best Picture nomination, but still a good showing from tick, tick…BOOM! Best Actor, Best Director and Best Screenplay? Maybe this is a positive outlier, but I should get around to this one. What is the potential for this one in everyone's mind?

I haven't seen Tick Tick Boom yet. The most curious thing here is that they loved Don't Look Up but didn't nom any of the actors... even tho their supporting categories have several negligible perfs.

Yeah, that's odd about Don't Look Up. To get shut out like that when it did fine otherwise. And Jared Leto got in for House of Gucci? Let's see how far this one goes!!

I think a lot of this depends on Cyrano - how it plays when released because it's a musical kind of year with West Side Story, tick............and Cyrano

Never say never, mhynson27 ! People do like them some Cage. I didn't think he had a chance either and I think he's still a longshot but he keeps showing up in places and opportunities to nominate him don't come around often. This might be the time

I don't expect it to come to any industry prizes, but if we're gonna die, we might as well die historic on Cage Rage.

I don't know how far it will go in some of the categories, but Garfield, so far at least, seems to be in an enviable position so far as far as the Best Actor category goes. And by the way, what do you think about Cyrano's chances? I know it's really early, but that might be an interesting story line to the Oscar race as well!

I'm really only starting to hear buzz about it now, and while it might still be a decent movie, say that it isn't guaranteed much might be a reasonable answer.
