Specifically the drama series category. In supporting actor, only Jonathan Banks, Giancarlo Esposito, and Chris Sullivan will be eligible next year. In Supporting actress, only Julie Garner and Fiona Shaw will be eligible.
In Supporting actor, I could picture someone from Westworld getting in, although not sure if Jeffrey Wright will be going lead or supporting. Maybe Bradley Whitford and/or Joseph Fiennes in The Handmaid’s Tale. Perhaps Tobias Menzies and/or Charles Dance in The Crown will end up being Emmy-worthy. I could also picture some actors from Succession getting in, although I’m not sure who’d be considered lead vs. supporting. David Harbour in Stranger Things will be eligible again as well. Mindhunter has also been really acclaimed this year. I think Holt McCallany could have a shot if he goes supporting.
As for Supporting Actress, there’s Thandie Newton in Westworld, a whole lot of people in The Handmaid’s Tale, Sarah Snook in Succession, Millie Bobbie Brown in Stranger Things, maybe Uzo Aduba in OITNB for the farewell season, and Helena Bonham Carter in The Crown.
Any other potential contenders I might have missed?

Aaron Paul seems like a safe bet for Westworld.
