I have no patience for insane parents who give experts (pediatricians, child psychologists, etc.) shit for not being parents. Child health/development experts have dedicated their careers to improving children's lives and spent years training and learning for that purpose alone, so just maybe they deserve the benefit of the doubt, eh? It's infuriating. Exactly. There are no real qualifications needed to become a parent, whereas there are a shit ton to become a child psychologist. These people are self-centered and incredibly dumb.

Whatever happened to Fergie? Like didn't she used to be a big star and stuff and she sang a bad version of The Star Spangled banner at an All-Star game and she totally disappeared? Just sayin'

This conspiracy theory that Bill Gates is trying to hide tracking technology inside Corona virus vaccines besides being utterly ludicrous, is literally the Nano Machines Son meme from Metal Gear Rising.

I watched Skeleton Frolic from 1937 today and was struck by this scene: so now I'm down a rabbit hole of the history of flipping the bird.

Just sayin' She was more of a big star with The Black Eyed Peas. After she left, she went on a 4-5 year binge of drug abuse....but at the same time was able to release her first solo album in 2006 (which wasn’t bad tbf). But yeah since then she’s not done much music......I believe she’s focusing on her perfume business these days.

Who is more useless movie critics or music critics? It's got to be music critics right? - I mean a "good" movie can be sculpted and hit certain marks to appeal to just about everyone on some level ........but music.........nah........way too many variables and way more harder to express why you responded to it at all.

Is John Mills in Ryan's Daughter the worst Oscar-winning performance of all-time? I enjoyed the movie just fine, but the guy is unwatchable

Hey, you guys ever had a girlfriend that was smarter than you?
My first was smarter than me in EVERYTHING, it was almost embarrassing. Her academics is around the level of Carnegie Mellon and mine is nothing more than University of Texas. (we went both to Texas, btw) She's so much quicker at quiz games, and her recognition of certain things seems way sharper than mine, and she's about 100 times more responsible.
I will say my vocabulary is better though, or at least my one-biter terms makes even her laugh. And I can decipher social situations better and know exactly where not to go together, and there's a few subjects I'm better at (probability, spelling), but she's just about smarter in everything else.
As for my girlfriends after her, it's not even close and worth comparing, but I feel owned by my FIRST and it still reverberates today.

Hey, you guys ever had a girlfriend that was smarter than you? Is it a wonder? Unless the couple has exactly the same level of intelligence, it's normal one of the two is smarter, and it can be the girl.

Girls are getting hotter now than compared to 5 years ago. Check Tinder and observe your environment. The ones who were teenagers 5 years ago are HOTTIES now, and they're multiplying in greater numbers than before. You have plenty of chances.

Shadow of a Doubt actually came out a week before Casablanca. (Two favorite films of the 40s)
Girl in this novel set in 40s New York goes to see Shadow of a Doubt one week, then Casablanca some weeks later. I researched the release dates, and they were accurately placed in the book. Lel.

Ever see a shot or gif from a movie and think "I will stop at nothing until I've seen this movie." Spend the day searching the worldwide web for any stream of the movie, fail, try again, fail and decide Setsuko Hara is too good for this world (wide web) anyway. I present you a shot from pirate-noir A Woman in the Typhoon Area (1948)

Do people think posting "by miles" in a reply as in __________ is better than _______ in the film "by miles" is a persuasive face value argument? Is it more persuasive than if you said "by 1.4 miles" or "1.7 miles" specifically? ..........hmmmmmmm Also, most people do not seem to understand what "semantics" actually means at all which is quite funny/sad actually

Every time I rewatch LOTR, I'm always uneasy about how short Elijah Wood cuts his fingernails.
But then maybe I'm the weirdo with odd ass fingernails? Maybe he's just got itty bitty nails? Am I overthinking this?

Anyone kinda wish DeNiro would've just gotten on that plane with his girl in Heat instead of... you know... being so stubborn with needing to make that stop to go and kill Waingro? I know that kinda betrays and contradicts some of the attributes of Neil we've come to learn through the course of the film, but at that point I was on Neil's side all the way, and I just wanted him to make a clean getaway with his girl - her sad eyes at the end were too precious to have to see an end like that.

That's the beauty of the whole movie: 30 seconds flat if you spot the heat around the corner!!
