So much for Corbyn being an unstoppable electoral juggernaut. This is a preview of what what would happen with a "progressive"/avowed socialist against Trump. Trying to use this U.K election as an argument against a candidate such as Bernie is a very unfair comparison imo. The whole issue of Brexit makes it hard to draw any conclusion from this in regards to other countries politics. Well are you gonna admit defeat about Bernie Sanders now? Are you gonna admit he's not actually that popular and it's just internet bollocks?

Are you gonna admit he's not actually that popular and it's just internet bollocks? His policies have literally shown to be popular at every exit poll. I have yet to see any states that say they want to keep private insurance over a universal healthcare system. Something you've argued against me countless times on here before and have literally shown you have no idea about (like your aunt having a long wait time for a CAT scan, when there are literally private CAT scans here lmao). Bernie had the entire establishment come against him. A study showed that corporate media gave over 70 million dollars of free ads for Biden after his win in South Carolina. His coverage for his win was much more positive than Bernies win in Nevada. Only thing Biden beats Bernie on is electability according to polls, which are majority of voters biggest issue. Corporate media pushed that narrative.

Wow talk about denial. Your argument completely falls apart by the fact Trump is in office and he had almost the entire media against him.
Face it, Americans won't vote for a socialist.

Trump got less negative coverage than Clinton in the general election believe it or not. So no, my argument doesn’t fall apart by Trump being in office, it’s actually supported by that fact. It also helps that the coverage amounted to billions of dollars of free coverage too. You were more fun to talk to when you didn’t just call Bernie a socialist every other reply and actually tried to make sound arguments, like one of the reasons why the healthcare system in Canada fails is because of the long CAT scan wait times hahaha.

This thread has become something totally different than the original title
"Boris Johnson is the UK 's new prime minister". 🤔

In the general election, she overall got more negative coverage. For sure, Trump got a lot of negative attention during the republican primary but if you read that link there’s a good point in there how that can benefit republicans as it’s more appealing to their kind of base. I’m not making any excuses, just making points as to why the primary has occurred the way it has. Now can you tell me why Americans don’t want universal healthcare even though all of the polling has pointed towards that being the case?

You really will believe anything. We all remember the election and how Trump's coverage was. The only positives about Trump came out of FOX news. I can't believe you're falling for this bollocks.
You are making excuses and you never learn. Americans won't want universal healthcare if their taxes go up which it will undoubtedly will but you won't accept that.

You’re right. When I turned on CNN a couple of times, I remember them saying mean things about Trump. So fuck it, I’ll completely disregard that study and believe that my anecdotal evidence is way more accurate. Bernie has said how peoples taxes will go up, but it’ll save them thousands of dollars as their premiums cost will be cut, and guess what? Exit polls also should each time how people believe Bernie is the best one to handle the healthcare issue. God damn dude you have some monkey brains.

Use your eyes and ears. Not even Hilary Clinton would believe that study and she made every excuse in the book.
Not for it to be run well, just look at the NHS. Even in good periods the NHS is never what it needs to be. Naive as usual.

You disregard every study I show you without using any substantive argument other than anecdotal ones just to fit your narrative, and you’re saying I’m the one that needs to open my eyes and ears? 😂 Please. So now you moved the goal posts and are going back on what you said because you can’t disregard what majority of the American people want? You’re embarrassing. Keep arguing your point of how most of the American people don’t want a universal healthcare system. Your one argument has been shot done already. Come up with another.

Or they would rather vote for someone who they think is the most electable and has the best chance to beat Trump, which all of the polling has pointed towards as well. Literally all of the exit polls have shown this. It’s not from just a couple of states, it’s from all of them. There’s a consistency. You’re a dumb fuck. You thinking highly of yourself just makes it that much funnier too. You can’t manage to have a substantive thought, it’s actually pathetic at this point. You mise well just go to Crowders youtube section to have discussions, you’d fare much better there.

Ah yes the older people who are the ones voting who lived through the Cold War and remembers what the Soviet Union was are doing it just because Biden is more electable. Fuck off. You just can't handle people don't like your politics nor your woeful candidate.

Majority of the democratic voters have said that their number one priority is to nominate someone that can beat Trump rather than someone that they agree with on policy issues. Again, it’s not just one exit poll that has shown us this. It’s either all of them or the vast majority of them. And it’s like 60-65% of people that list that as their #1 priority. Is it dumb as fuck? Yes, but it seems to be the truth. You’d know this if you followed the primary somewhat closely, which I guess you haven’t. Ahahaha holy shit, now you’re just projecting. I’ve grown up in a conservative family, with most of my friends voting conservative, in the most conservative province. Trust me, I think I can handle it when people don’t agree with me. Especially since every vote I’ve casted hasn’t turned out the way I’ve wanted it to. People don’t like Bernie? Oh wow, this is news to me. You’re really sounding like Hillary Clinton honestly. Sad. www.statista.com/chart/20538/most-and-least-popular-us-senators/Also, I obviously do give Bernie some blame for his inevitable loss. He was too nice and didn’t attack hard enough in the debates. The last debate being a prime example where he went after Trump harder than he went after Biden. Bernie shifted the Overton window in America though and for that I’m thankful. While saying that, it’s time for someone to step up and become the new social democratic candidate in America and to keep pushing Bernies agenda forward. I don’t know how long that will take, but I know the time will come at some point.
