If I could not hear about Colin Kaepernick for one day, I'd be so happy. I am glad the giants passed at least would've been a putrid choice. I'm no exactly happy about the Geno Smith pick either (and I don't know anything outside of the little draft day blurb from the new guy they drafted this year), but being Eli Manning's backup is basically the bench-warmingest position in all of sports at the moment. There's no way Kaep woulda taken that spot (not to mention the NY media isn't exactly the kindest to players in the spotlight). |

Lets say they have a horrible season, any chance they make a run at that up and coming USC quarterback?. It would have to be a really monumentally bad season for them to bench Eli. Even then, they'd probably throw Smith the reigns first. |

I knew that C.T.E. was a major issue, but I guess living in Ohio especially so close to Ohio State, I never felt guilty about watching football. After reading this article from the New York Times though, in good conscious, I can no longer watch it. I was thinking about that too; although, I no longer watch WWE and never watched MMA or boxing. Anyway, I guess some could say it's like smoking since people now know the risk going into it, but seeing my mom suffering from Alzheimer's, I just wouldn't feel right about watching football right now even though the players are aware of the risks of what probably will end up happening to them. I know that it will still thrive, so I don't expect people to stop watching it. It's just a personal choice for me because it just hits too close to home right now. |

Did a few mock drafts for fantasy picking 9th, 7th, 8th and 3rd out of 12.     Might do a few more later. My draft isn't until 2 weeks from now. I did more mocks than these but had to throw them out because I'd either forget to switch the settings to make it match the style of the league I'm in or forgot to draft a backup QB. In most of them I ended up drafting Kirk Cousins too which I don't really have a problem with. Ideally I'd like to get one of the three QBs that I consider "top tier" but I got Kirk Cousins as my 5th ranked QB so w/e. I really ate shit with my QBs on that last mock though |
