Instead of being smart and taking what the bookies gave me, I went extra with my bets for the chiefs Chiefs over 24.5 total points Chiefs -5.0 Chiefs ML My fucking goodness the 49ers are going to win it on a TD Thank God I didn’t parlay this. 2/3 is not bad, made a nice little profit tonight

That was a hell of a game in the end. All D early on, and then the offenses woke up late. Chiefs didn't have a single long touchdown drive the entire game until they're in overtime my heart broke for the Niners at the end of regulation when a missed kick was the difference, but the refs with at least 3 questionable calls in OT all going against the Chiefs and they won anyway is pretty funny.

This game has been another example of how if the Super Bowl is 0-0 after the first quarter it will almost always be a classic

Also when you don't give up more than 28 points all season you kind of deserve to win it all.......at one point KC was like what 6th in our Power Rankings.....and that offense never looked right but looked just right enough

Has Swift actually ever fucked? Like, that is a serious question. I can't actually picture it in my head.

I'm still thinking about this game.
This Super Bowl has stayed with me longer than any Super Bowl since the Falcons collapse.
Shanahan will be the first and last coach to choose to accept the ball under the new overtime format. Egregious but the players getting up on podium saying they didnt know the rules is an even worse thing to take in.

Ask my cousins who who live in Philly - where yelling would only be a start - when he couldn't manage the game clock for 15 fncking years and they still can't get the cheesesteak stains off of the head coaches desk.............recentism ffs Tommen

I was sitting there miserable while doing my job and suddenly the thought came to mind that it kinda says a lot about our cultural decay that we’re so quick to villainize serial winners like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes pacinoyes did the people back in your day have this same energy for the Packers, Steelers or 49ers dynasties of yesteryear? Or even for the Browns in the 50s before the sport really started taking off?

I'm not ancient like pacinoyes but do know people who can attest that the Steelers in the '70s and the Cowboys in the '90s were definitely hated (don't know about the 49ers in the '80s oddly enough). I think it's just part of sports, we want the intrigue and excitement of tuning in to see who wins so if one person/team is just dominant it's cool at first but can get old fast, especially as the stars get overexposed. In the NBA, the Lakers and Celtics have always had people who hated them and every new dynasty that comes up gets hated on. Plenty of people hated Ali in his heyday and hated Floyd Mayweather in the modern era. The Yankees have been despised for a damn century.

Yea true, come to think of it I’m certainly guilty of this too after hating on Nick Saban’s Bama teams since I was in middle school. Although to be fair, as a lifelong Gator that hate comes naturally to me

Unless you're a fan of them, nobody likes the Warriors, Lakers, Cowboys, Patriots, Yankees, Man Utd, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Federer, Djokovic, Serena, Sampras, um, John Cena. So on and so forth. The only exception I can think of is Usain Bolt, but that's probably because people only cared a couple of times every 4 years.

I love 'em so much of course .......
