Joe Biden mixes up his sister and his wife. No wonder he won 2/3 of the vote in Alabama.

Looks like Biden has it after his big super tuesday. Even though I still think he’ll ultimately lose to Trump, it looks like he’ll be heading to the brokered convention with the most votes and delegates, which should make him the nominee.
That helps his case a lot compared to the other possible outcome of still getting the nomination even though Bernie had the most votes and delegates.

What's interesting is what will happen when Biden-Trump are debating - Trump knows nothing substantive to have a legit debate with anyone ever and Biden can't remember facts coherently anyway. I literally think Trump may strike him on top of the head at the beginning .......or throw warm tea on him and cover Biden with a blanket. Biden will rightfully attack Trump on his random foreign policy but he'll confuse Xi Jinping with Kim Jong-un undercutting his entire point and then just ask the nice Orange waiter for an egg roll with his tea. This is going to be great and by great I mean absolutely fncking awful. Pass the popcorn...

Congratulations to Americans on another 4 years of Donald Trump! I mean, I know I'm a broken record at this point, but MI, PA, and WI... Winning all three of those states by less than 1%... All Biden has to do is flip them back to blue to win.

I understand, but do remember that Biden just doesn't come with the baggage that Hillary came with (some of it real, most of it exaggerated by her opponents), and he in general is viewed to be the more warm and likeable person.

The (potential) Trump-Biden debate will be my favorite comedy of the year.

These primary results are pretty damning for Bernie's strategy but the implications I think are even grimmer and wider-reaching, and indicate that the establishment's focus on older voters at the expense of young people is just going to continue because that the numbers aren't supporting an alternative. If even Bernie's supporters aren't showing up to vote for him, who else would they show up for? The assumption you can draw from these results is...no one. Young people simply aren't going to vote. Not enough of them--not enough to make them a priority. And now it's a vicious cycle, where young voters feel voiceless and disillusioned because the establishment isn't showing up for them and conversely, the establishment isn't catering to the interests of young voters because the evidence indicates that they won't show up on election day even if they like you. Bernie's mistake was being dependent on a demographic that does not actually engage enough with the democratic process on the most basic level. He received fewer votes this primary cycle than in 2016. Obviously there are more primaries to go but I think Biden definitely has this in the bag. Sanders can't compete with Biden's numbers. And obviously Warren is done. I like her a lot and she'd be my ideal candidate (in an ideal world where sexism wouldn't affect her chances) but there's no path forward for her at all. I think someone on her own team said that. Anyways, when Bernie loses the candidacy, it will not have been that it was stolen from him like it was in 2016, it'll be because his army stayed home. And I assume they'll stay home in November too, because who the fuck cares about the fate of the country.

i mean obviously voting for anybody is stupid but there's concrete suppression that always goes on yeah, also a lot of people are just staying home. Young people being apathetic is why the demographic is voiceless in politics save for the AOCs that come once in a generation. Good luck with all that.

Trump will hit Biden hard on trade as well. I really don’t see this going well for the democrats.

Good luck with all that. i know my views aren't very popular but it's hardly apathy that prevents me of picking between one of several war criminals. i'm very passionate about politics, which is why i think it's impossible for me to cast a vote for someone i see as being a shitty person and leader.

Making cuts to it is necessary to sustain it.
