This’ll probably be the last AMARA’s I contribute to. I don’t have detailed lineups past 2007.
But FYC: Show Ratatouille lots of love!

This’ll probably be the last AMARA’s I contribute to. I don’t have detailed lineups past 2007. But FYC: Show Ratatouille lots of love! I don't have detailed lineups at all. Which makes me hesitant to vote in a lot of tech categories, but I like contributing and I DEFINITELY like following, so... I'm in a bit of a moral quandary, but I'm sticking through it.

Are the songs from Juno original? Because if they are, I probably have around ten songs between Once and Juno that I would likely place over everything else.

FYC: BEST ORIGINAL SONG
I love Once's soundtrack as much as the next guy, but the entire category should be from Walk Hard. Make it happen, AMARAs.

For shame...

it's never too late to make lineups guys, and it's better late than never. Isn't that kind of the point of this series to begin with? I didn't have lineups before I came to MA but because of polls and series like these I've been backtracking my viewings and have gotten all the way to back to 1960 over these last few years (and a lot of these years in the 60s and 70s I had to build up practically from scratch) precisely so I could contribute but also for my own edification. It was a bit of a legwork to be sure but once you've constructed the list you've already done most of the work and from that point on you just have to add things to it as you see them. Now anytime I watch a new movie I can keep track of it and that's an amazing feeling. Two years ago I had only seen like five movies from 1969 and now I have over 20 in my list (same story for 1970, 1989, etc etc). That too is an amazing feeling.
Never too late to make those lineups.

Are the songs from Juno original? Because if they are, I probably have around ten songs between Once and Juno that I would likely place over everything else. As far as I know, they were not original songs unfortunately. Great year for the category, though, IMO. Once, Enchanted, Walk Hard, Into the Wild, and Dan in Real Life round out my top ten, but there are still plenty more.
