India out of the world cup. The no.1 team in the world, finished top of the table in the league stage but lost to New Zealand in the semi finals. Was not expecting this at all. Even New Zealand might be surprised that they won.
F**king heartbreaking this.
Anyway big game tomorrow. Aus v Eng. I'll root for England. It's them who invented the Cricket and they playing good cricket from the last couple of years and they have the home advantage. I just hope it's not f**king Aussies.

England are cruising towards victory. Couple of days ago i was expecting an India versus Australia clash in the finals and how tables have turned.
If Aus gets knocked out we will see a new winner and that's not a bad thing.

Didn't expect Aus to loose in that fashion. They are known for their fighting spirit and never lost a world cup semi final but England are in sublime form except for a couple of games in the middle of the tournament. New Zealand who lost their last 3 matches in the group stage, clobbered India in semis and which is a huge morale boost for them. Should be a good contest between these two. Wouldn't mind any of them winning the cup but it'd be sweet if England wins. Also these are the only two finalist teams that had beaten India in this world cup. At least something to satisfy our ego |

Perhaps the most thrilling world cup final in cricket ever. What a game. Congrats England. They won their first ever world cup in a game they invented.
