Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is still my favourite Alfonso Cuaron film even after watching Children of Men and Roma and I don't think Y Tu Mama Tambien is going to unseat it.

National Anthems and flags are a load of nonsense and the idea that someone should be judged for disparaging or disrespecting either, is as ridiculous as the concept of them both. Say that in India, and they'll most likely kill you.

The big problem here is that we have to stand up for the National Anthem before watching a movie in theatres. It reached its height when we stood up for the National Anthem before watching First Man, a film primarily about an American achievement.

It reached its height when we stood up for the National Anthem before watching First Man, a film primarily about an American achievement. An Indian person I work with was telling me about that National Anthem before watching a movie thing previously. I found it so surprising; but then again, compared to other extremes people take it to with flags and anthems, that it actually somewhat tame.

You know those cochlear implant tattoos that dads and granddads are getting for their kids? Yeah, I think they're misguided. I feel like there's a better option to show love, support, and solidarity than... you know, A TATTOO ON THE SIDE OF YOUR HEAD! I feel like one could get a fake one that attaches with some double-sided tape or a hair clip. But that's just me (this opinion did not go over well on imgur).
Plus, in 5 years time when that implant is the size of a thumbtack, parents are gonna have to explain to their little kids that no, that old man is not a Soundcloud rapper.

90% of the time a movie watching experience is much better in my living room than in a movie theater (I’m nearing the point of wanting to assault people that keep lighting up their cell phones).

I was watching Us on Saturday, and my phone (which was on silent) rang during the opening credits. I didn't even take it out of my pocket. It isn't that tough to do as far as I'm concerned, but a person further down the row I was in must have spent a combined 30 minutes of the movie pissing about with their phone.

Lgbt making a fuss about Brunei are embarassing. Imagine an Islamic country implementing the Islamic law for muslims: how shocking.

Just rewatched Animal House for the first time in years, and it's exactly as I remembered it: not funny, long past its expiration date and, above all, an absolute bore.

I've seen it once, and that one time was enough to know it is bloody awful. I genuinely did not laugh once watching it. One of the greatest examples of overrated cinema.

People should focus hating on actual capitalist garbage like Alice in Wonderland (2010), The Smurfs, The Hangover Part II and Bohemian Rhapsody rather than superhero films.
