Oklahoma makes abortion illegal except in case of medical emergency ( no exceptions made for rape or incest). Lots of red states are getting raging anti-choice boners ahead of SC's ruling on the Mississippi case but this is the most extreme legislation yet. Imagine being a rape victim in Oklahoma forced to carry your attacker's fetus to term. Absolutely horrific.

I agree with the above sentiments. Not only is calling this psychotic an understatement, it’s also inherently racist at its core. Black women get the majority of abortions and it’s a damn dirty shame we’re restricting these poor black women’s access to crucial health care services and forcing them to bring more black kids into the world

DeSantis passed a 15 week abortion ban today also btw which is quite an act of hubris and yet another sign that he's going to run......similar to the Mississippi law. Florida's new law is modeled after another in Mississippi that also bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. That law is currently being considered at the Supreme Court, where justices in the six-member conservative majority appear willing to uphold the law.www.npr.org/2022/04/14/1084485963/florida-abortion-law-15-weeks
